I can't hit an apex to save my life, but I can hit that kill zone with extreme precision.

I NEVER understood why that second Spa curb you showed only sometimes caused me to get tossed, thank you!

Thanks man, that kerb definitely snagged me a couple times before I realised it was just made that way!

Extremely helpful, even for gt7 tracks. Nice one Danny!

This was an incredible insight into curbs! Nurburgring has soo many tricky curbs like the ones in Suzuka.

Thanks man - nurburgrings kerbs are deadly but at least you can tell just by looking at them!

2:46 Excellent visualisation - effectively if a rear tyre suddenly has way less friction - you need to compensate by, while that is the case atleast, asking way less of your front tyre - not quite countersteering, just asking way less of your fronts.

Makes you feel silly, like bashing your head on the oven extractor hood even though it's been there for years...

Exit of turn 6 at Road America can be a b*tch.
I always wondered why some kerbs were randomly lethal. Love your use of the close up camera to help explain this. Ace vid.

Hockenheimring's second curve had me toppled a few times for probably different reason.

The last one on spa is my killer kerb.... dunno how many times it almost ruined my race because I almost lost it there.

this is a bug in physics.. its never happened to me in real life on dry kerbs

The tyre should just deform under the force and continue to make contact with both parts unless it's a truly monster cliff edge of a kerb. Also probably more pressure because same force over less surface area, which might work to mitigate some of the traction loss that may or may not be factored in.

This why I developed a bad habit of staying off all curbs.
