Stop relying on door to door sales grom your salespeople. You come to my door trying to sell anything, Im going to tell you have the internet and I know what I want and when I want it. Thr last thing I need is a person selling my something at my door. If a company can't generate leads from marketing, then they shouldn't hire salespeople. The company is telling you they are cheap and are relying on an antiquated way of selling. NO ONE wants People knocking on their door. I will do cold calling sales to business's, but never will I do door to door bs sales. You want residential, spend the money to advertise to residential. Door to door iales is awful, rude, pushy, and sleazy. I kill it in b2b but I dont consider myself a bad salesperson because I won't knock on residential doors. And after being hired ,then I'm told we rely on door to door....bye! Adam, you could walk up to my door, and your ass would be back on the sidewalk before you even get a word out. I grew up in b2b sales ,but door to door is for pushy low brow employees and companies. I see a leak in my roof or tiles missing, I don't need some tattood, longhaired kid telling me about my roof at my door...I'll go to the internet. Stop being such a cheap company and spend the money in marketing to acquire residential.
If it wasn't lucrative, no one would be doing it. Truth is, just because someone doesn't necessarily want you knocking on their door, doesn't mean they have no need for your services.
Just wrong in so many ways lol… my company just went from 12M to 18M to 26M in the past 3 years… 100% of our lead generation is from door knocking. People appreciate face to face interaction.
Man, I hate talking to people. When I need something, I just rely on AI to listen to me through my phone and tell me what I need to buy. When a human comes to me wanting to talk, I just put my fingers in my ears and scream at Siri and Alexa... They always come to my rescue in seconds!
Yeah and in the early 2000's, they thought the internet would be the end of car dealerships/salesmen. Didn't happen. People generally aren't going to get on their roof> identify hail damage> call an adjuster out>research the highest value roofing contractor>tell them exactly what their insurance scope covers>close the deal themselves. 99% of homeowners won't do hardly any of this.

I learned this lesson the hard way too.

Little early to be drunk bud! You can’t even spell, I’m not sure you know what you actually want!
