What a difference in design and technology. I can remember the days of the Ultimate The Tent made of rip-stop nylon which was a vast improvement on tents of the day. Keep them coming Nick.

It a great tent first impressions I'm very happy with it. Plenty of room compare to my old Lanshan one. You can sit up and get changed. Great size vestibules just need to give it a wind test now. Thanks for watching ATB Nick

What does the notation "solid" mean in relation to this tent version please ?
Hi it's the inner has a mixture of material and mesh more suited to colder environment. Rather than just mesh.
@@ashwoodoutdoors thanks, I just wondered if the tent came in different build options and wanted to make sure I get the right one… I’m sure I have seen a version of it made from dynema ?? Or maybe I’m getting confused..!!?
@@rossmac3084 Yes they do s DCF version aswell but it's a single skin. Very light but not the best for UK conditions as the condensation can be really bad.

It's a great tent. Took mine on the West Highland Way in June and it performed admirably. Can sit up, get changed, stretch as it has plenty of room. Like anything not perfect but I'd say it met 99.9% of my needs on the trip. Rigged some longer guy outs to pitch with rocks alongside Loch Lomond and stayed up well without the stakes. She's a keeper!
