Hi. Great tutorial! Curious if you've ever used KC MAX? If so how do you think it compares to NKST? The downtime for NKST is tough...Interesting that the MAX doesn't require that. Thanks in advance.
I have used the KCMAX. As someone that prefers straight hair, I prefer the KCMAX on myself. I used the NKSTB on this client which is similar to NKST however it’s for blondes and/or those who have over-processed hair.
As far as not washing your hair? You have to wait 72 hours before washing your hair. After that, your free to use keratin safe shampoos and conditioners (not from drugstores/big box retailers) It lasts UP TO 5 months
I had the keratin complex by cappolla nine years ago and the down time was the exact same. I river if I’ll have the same results. I have very thick coarse curly hair. It flats irons straight but the second my hair hits humidity or I sweat …puff ball. I had the kc smooth three years ago and it didn’t have the same effect.
@@christinacavigliano28 there is a strong chance that the treatment was not applied properly or that it was not left on long enough. Also the KC Smooth is a very different formula compared to the NKST/NKSTB. NKSTB: Treatment Benefits - protects fine, damaged, or compromised hair; reduces breakage; repairs damage Longevity - UP TO 5 months KC Smooth: Treatment Benefits - Faster, easier blow drys, provides heat protection, same day style/zero downtime Longevity - UP TO 3 months
My ultimate goal is to reduce as much curl as possible so when I straighten my hair it will stay and not frizz or curl up. There’s so many it there now idk which one to choose. I’ve been researching for weeks she can’t seem to make a decision. There’s one I was told about called pure Brazilian keratin

What’s the down time for this?

There’s a beauty school by me that actually has the Peter Coppola keratin complex but I’m iffy about going there
