The clips to the Air box / Filter box don't move much, so just be gentle with them. It's enough if you just get them hooked off, they don't make any sound when they "Plug off". If they do, you most likely broke it haha.
Thank for putting this on TH-cam, worked a treat, was checking all the fuses till i found your video, The car has only just come back from the dealer after two weeks so the thought of having to take it back again was not something i was looking forward to.
You my sir are a legend! Just saved me thinking I’m stranded in the car park at 11pm with the windscreen completely fogged up after the cinema with no way to solve it. Works exactly as shown in the video, just UK spec, the AC fan is on the other side, top man 👍
You're a total star mate. I'd checked the fuse when my AC fan failed, and when that turned out to be fine I hit panic mode. How much was it going to cost me to put my baby into a Porsche dealer to replace the fan? I thought I'd see if TH-cam had any ideas, and I found your video. I gave it a go and it worked a treat. Thank you for posting this little tip. Very handy indeed. Probably saved me a small fortune. Niice1 fella. 👍😁
ty very much. i just needed 5 Minutes to fix the Problem. But i am still shocked how a Premium Car like a Porsche have such a Problem just after 4 Years. All my other Cars before ( BMW, AUDI, VW, Mini, Renault.....) never had such a Problem.
Does anyone know a permanent fix for this? This only works until you leave the car parked up again for a few days and you're back to square one. It gets very tiresome when it's cold and dark first thing in the morning and you just want to clear the windscreen..

Thanks so much! It worked...
Just done exactly as you've described on my 10 year old Boxster 981 and it did the trick. You are a legend!
Nice one mate just saved me from freezing to death
Thanks so much! Had to do mine this morning
You fixed my problem as well! Thanks for posting. I sprayed a small bit of WD 40 contact cleaner on it. We’ll see how long this holds up!
Good idea.
Post a video of exactly where you sprayed the WD40 so I can do it without spraying everything 😁
Thanks very much for the video, you just saved me a trip to the Porsche garage, awesome video.
Thank you! Helped me a lot, I had the same issue and your trick worked !
Thanks bro, this happens every time when I leave my car ideal during winter time. Got it sorted. Cheers!!!!
Awesome vid, just saved me a visit to the dealership so thank you!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for that! Sorted mine out, so easy👍🏼👍🏼

Engine location. Had the engine been in front, would this not happen as it's mostly condensation and the cold weather that caused this issue
legend thank you!

I spray a little bit of Wd40 on it, haven't had a problem after that. Did it the day after I posted this video. Works for me, worth a try
Varför händer det här?
@@LupceStavreski troligen är det fukten samt kalla vädret som orsakar detta. Sprejade lite Wd40 på och efter detta har det inte hänt mer
@@982porsche doesnt it smell inside like WD40 ?
@@roadster890 just a quick spray, didn't spray that much of it and the smell disappears quickly
