I actually got one in yesterday and it's remarkably good. No paint issues whatsoever and everything feels tight. Amazing figure
The paint kinda looks like a post-battle spidey, kinda cool to have the original and the bootleg as a before and after thing

I think you should try to move it lightly and gently slowly slowly it might start moving because i have experienced this
Got this for my bday in 2019. And it was a bootleg and mine was the exact same as yours, it broke so now I am re-ordering the bootleg to see if it’s better

They put the joint in the arm on the wrong side.
The joint have red n blue to simulate the arm but they put it wrong.

Hey Dstar, I'm a customiser and I want a good damian wayne (none exsist) and i'm trying to find a good base.( it'll be soft goods based) does this bootleg look in scale with mezco batman sov knight. if not i can use the head and the rest as a makeshift mcu spiderman. keep in mind damians like 12 or something.

My Mafex Spider-Man homecoming is fake and the legs broke the magnets fell off and the design is too dusty the head is wobbly ugly unmasked head too.

For the Tom Holland head to get in take out the neck of the head and put it in the body (I have this Spiderman Action figure at least my second favorite.mine's Spiderman Figure's magnet work if you put the other magnet hand in)

It's basically a MAFEX figure with Hasbro quality control lol Definitely worth the $15.00 if you ask me. It's a great alternative and it can be a great testing fig if you're a customizer.

You can tell that figure its shorter than the original. you can see the chest and the stomach have a big gap. theres no gap in original. the chest should be more up. I have the original one.
also mafex should be more taller than shf spidey HC

Not really. Knockoffs are great for customizers and people who can’t afford the real thing. If you want to find an authentic, go price: highest to lowest and go to page 2 or 3. Same for price: lowest to highest, go to page 2 or 3.

Mafex JL Batman has the same height problem. I was very interested in that, but after realizing it, just gave up on Mafex Bootlegs and got a MezKO BvS Batman instead.

Yeah, sadly the knock off is using sub par ballpin joints and he's way shorter than the official. I appreciate these reviews because they let me know what to look out for when trying to avoid knock offs in the third party market. I made a mistake with a wish purchase of an sh figuarts black panther and while it's the least egregious of most knock offs, having both the real and ko in hand is a world of difference.

@@Necxuz25 en realidad fue otro figma! uno que sí está basado en el mismo molde (el del canal parecía un engendro fusión entre el Figma y el Revoltech... intenté ganar likes para que haga un review de ese figma para que más gente lo conozca, pero no conseguí los suficientes :/ ...yo creo que le gustaría tanto al mismo @dstar01 como a muchos otros que no pueden pagar casi $150 por la versión DX

Man, it was way different for me. Mine came in its box and had another box regular box around it, not paper. My arm came out a little but was an eassy fix. The head, oh god where do i start, it was horrible, worse than the video. Magnets worked fine if i used the feet and atleast one hand. Webs had warped a little, but i fixed that with a heat gun. The stand was loose but i had a tiny screwdriver so i tightend it. So far, mine was great and in my opinion worth it. It is all up to chance with these bootlegs. Hope if you buy this you know that you cant get too dissapointed if it breaks or looks bad, its a roll of the dice. Great video btw

I was thinking of buying a few bootlegs for base bodies to customize...im glad I came across this...i know this is a long shot but i would love if you do a review of the SPD/Dekaranger sh figuarts..it run about $25...so i know that cant be a real figure

Also for tight joints, use dish soap in small amounts, a channel by the name of Steven's Figure Reviews has a tutorial on how to use this. Sad to see the quality and scaling issues with this figure. because the real Mafex is actually neck and neck if not overall preferred over the Figuarts.
The real mafex Spiderman is a treat and is much bigger. If you can find him for MSRP I highly recommend.
