They skipped a few important steps. The turn signals need to be relocated from factory position at the top of the forks. When doing this remove the steel clamp that has a tab that fits into the forks to prevent them turning. You need to switch them right to left so the tab is pointing down. Also the mounts that go on the forks have two different rubbers. The wider pair go on top to slow for lock to function.
They also don't show that the metal brackets that hold the cables get on the way of the metal fork clamps. The new style clamps they sent me do not match what's on this video and there's no way to insert the rubber lining between clamp and fork. They don't even show that in the video.
I have a 2010 vt1300cs. If you're thinking of getting this, don't. I just got mine after 3 months of waiting. The instructions suck and this video does not apply. This is for Fury only even though website says its for VT1300CS too.
You have the Sabre and the fairing doesn’t fit your bike? What’s preventing you from installing it on there? Headlight is the same. Forks are different but the clamp is adjustable. What’s the problem?
I have this fairing and am quite concerned about the AMP not being waterproof and it being exposed to the element. Any idea if there is any type of water resistant protection for the slot it resides in?
Well, after bitching at them continuously, those bastards did tighten up as I realized it's a poor design and forced their hand at which time they made a cover and sent it to me to install. So now the AMP is no longer exposed to any element and I no longer have any worries of the AMP taking on water. All is good now. By the way, it's not a marine grade AMP and it's definitely not waterproof by any means.
@@p.o.4033 so do u still run the stock amp or did u upgrade it, or upgrade the speakers? I've blown 2 sets of the stock speakers & about to upgrade them to DD's Digital Design speakers as of this weekend.
@@ericworthington7299 I still run the original AMP but decided to upgrade to a set of speakers that were capable of handling the power. It is definitely a decent AMP, I've never had it over heat or go into thermal overload. I purchased these water proof Pyle's for $26, and they have done me very well. You can play them all the way up, with no distortion and I can hear them up to highway speeds upwards of 70 MPH, even over my Vanson Hines exhaust. Hey, I have this fairing on a Honda fury and was wondering if the yellow/green wire has to be connected through the fuse box? Or can it connect to any power source? Thanks in advance for response

This could have been a much better video. Also there’s no need to remove the seat. However, it did manage to help me out just enough.
Would be nice to have this fairing with a Fm radio mounted in it! Great looking Fairing . Had a Tsukayu on my Honda Spirit 750 Black Widow .

So last year i got caught in a downpour storm & i continued to ride home, no problems with the amp
