Kimberly, you are a business woman who quilts, and Lori is a quilter who designs fabric. I can’t get an idea on fabric or designing, but my daughter, a graphic designer, is great at designing. It’s two people marking a perfect book!! You compliment each other! I wish I had a quilting friend.
Judith what part of the country do you live? Just in case we’re neighbors….I’m in Chesapeake VA. I would love a quilting friend that lives close.
@@savannahstamper right now we are in Arizona. We are trailer travelers. We live where we park it.
We are planning on being travelers too when we return to the US (in Japan right now). I am also going to have a home base (either in TX, SC, or CO). I am going to do cross stitch when traveling and quilting when back home.

Watching you two this morning was absolutely delightful! I can’t even begin to express how much I enjoyed Kimberly and Lori- it felt like we were all in a room together chatting! I love been quilting for decades and still learn so much from both of them!

What a wonderful watch. Seeing you both together really got me connected with you on a totally different level. What I mean is both of you and all you offer the sewing/crafting world has always been wonderful and inspiring but now your your not just Fat Quarter Shop and/or Bee in My Bonnet. To me now you are Kimberly and Lori!! Now when I visit you on your social media outlets, I will see you in a totally NEW light. Reminds me so much of my best friend Tammie and I. We started off as pen pals (dating myself I know) and have been bffs for over 45 years (since we were young girls). We've been sewing together for at least 35 of those years. She lives 3-1/2 hours away and so we usually sew together on a weekend visits. You gals remind me of us. So happy to be together doing what we love. Such a joy!! Thank you so much for sharing.
I love you girls! I love the way you pick on each other in a comical way and still take care of business. Lori I am actually from Salt Lake City but moved to Albuquerque in 1976 and go back and visit yearly. My nephew teaches at Herriman High School. I am a graduate of South High. I love, love, love all that you girls represent in the world of quilting with your talents and your products.

Happinesss is a new Lori Holt book. Sometimes I just like to flip through the ones I own and enjoy the designs and colors. Kimberly you are amazing at all you get done. You remind me of me when I was in college doing classes and dozens of activities. Love the plaid block. I sit in wonder watching this, I love everything so much.

I haven’t stitched a quilted stitch ....yet. I finally have, I believe, pretty much what I need to begin, Lori Holt Everything! But boy, am I wondering if I can do this....I’ve been sewing for years, but I feel like I’ve never sewn a stitch in my life, when I think about quilting. The journey begins....
