      Adam Henrickson the E63 has a staggered wheel and tire combo the rear wheels and tires are much wider than the front you can't rotate them like most cars.

    Sounds good man! I put 200K miles on a W210 E55, but got rear-ended in San Antonio last Sept and totaled it. I've been driving an Acura RL since, but headed out next week to pick up a 2008 E63! I can't wait - miss my Benz like crazy! I did the whole resonator delete/secondary delete and X-pipe on my W210. I'm not sure how far I want to go on the E63. There are 4 outlets vs 2 now, so naturally more sound. Plus there was no state inspections in AL. But I loved the sound with it all opened up!

    For those who don’t understand AMG’s, the car is sitting on staggered rims or tires! They also use different summer and winter tires. They are also rear wheel drive, And they love to eat rubber, because of the high torque that these cars come with. The tires on my CLK 55 last about 4 to 5 months and a set of blizzaks that come on these cars cost between 1,500 to 2,400 so most people aren’t in a rush to change em!

    I did that to mine but found the character to be a little too "truck-like" for my taste. Went back and added a small (1-1/2" maybe) H connector between the new pipes (there's actually one in the resonator). It's still loud and nasty especially up over 7K rpm, but to me it has more of that AMG character.

    • @Nissannx2000svg
      @Nissannx2000svg  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it doesn’t decrease anything it’s only there to lessen the sound from the engine and specific RPMS but the M156 is a variable valve timing engine and it only barks after they open up. Let’s just say it’s there to be social 😄

    Question, I currently have a cls63 w219. I want to spice the exhaust a bit, i had a bad experience with my previous cls55, I removed the secondary cats, put an x pipe and idk what else the shop did to it. i was promised it would sound sick which it did BUT a loss of torque was also done. I felt a loss of pressure at times. I dont want to do that this time, i need more growl but also maintain the power and if anything gain a bit.

    • @b58forever
      @b58forever 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      said serv why touching the dam exhaust is just beautiful from factory. people just mess up with the car and then regret it. why? because this cars are build with great engineers that know what their doing amg are not expensive for nothing their expensive because the have the whole package. like brakes,engine,transmission,exhau

    • @b58forever
      @b58forever 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      said serv i don't say you can't do some things to the car. like tuning maybe some drop in k&n filters. but I would never touch an amg exhaust is just sick from factory. that's my opinion..

      I have a c218 550. I did the resonator delete and it is literally perfection. It doesn't get loud until you want it to be loud. Also doesn't affect performance whatsoever. I did the exact same as this guy, just had the box resonator cut and straight pipes welded in place

    Removing the cats and resonator makes the real difference. But if you really want an overbearing sound then just delete the mufflers (which I wouldn't suggest). I deleted my resonator and added an x pipe and deleted my secondary cats and straight piped it. Sounds amazing with no drone. For some reason w211 e63 are the quietest AMG's from factory, my w219 cls63 sounded aggressive in stock form.

    Don't do it, it sound too quite. I took off my secondary cats & resonator left the stock muffler & it sounded like a real AMG you could really hear the engine and how it should sound like

      I didn't remove the Cats just deleted the resonator , so you should be ok if you did your smog test.

    • @Nissannx2000svg
      @Nissannx2000svg  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Hesam0000 just have the resonator replaced by two 3" tubes, I had mine done in stainless steel because that's what the rest of the system is made of .
