Honda CR-V runs smoothly and reliably just like a Honda lawnmower for a very long time. My college daughter has been driving the family pass down 2008 CRV since her high school years and the Honda still running flawlessly like new without any major issue even at 262K miles.
I've heard the car parts have become lower quality. Like the plastics toast quicker sort of thing. I recently got into one of these and felt the vent in the front was low quality. And bot sure how it stands against a Toyota rav 4 hybrid system. Ive seen reviews saying the honda hybrid isn't transparent to what you're looking at on your dashboard in terms of gas saving.

Honda Auto Technician here, The wireless charger doesn’t work well with Iphones. It will charge for a couple of seconds; maybe minutes. But it will stop charging and you will need to pick it up and place it back down on the charger to continue charging. Honda doesn’t have a fix for it yet. So if u buy a Honda with a wireless charger and have an Iphone. Don’t be surprised.
Yep yep, all the way Honda always gives that Premium feels whenever you use it. I know its pricey but it satisfied me whenever I use it. I bought 2024 Honda Cr-v EX-L last Feb. the driving and handling for me is so good and premium.

We recently traded our 2022 Subaru Outback Limited for a 2025 Honda CRV EX-L. The CRV has a classy, simple interior that is beautiful! At 5'1", I appreciate the visibility and the feeling that I am sitting up high. I have driven 2800 miles so far, taking two long road trips. The CRV is comfortable and I love being able to adjust climate controls using knobs. The Outback's gigantic and glitchy infotainment screen was frustrating and adjusting climate controls and other features via the screen was challenging and not safe to do while driving. The CRV has ample storage space in the dash area. I've had zero issues with the charger charging my iPhone consistently.
Had a 2019 crv lx had it for 3.5 years besides oil changes zero issues traded it in for a 20023 civic sport geting my wife a 2024 crv ex or sport hybrid honda makes the best cars

I am a salesman at a Honda dealer. I just bought a 2024 CRV sport highbred two weeks ago. My wife and I love it. But he’s wrong in the video most trim levels do not come with the wireless phone charger I have the sport package which is a mid-level and I don’t have one but a great vehicle.
Just bought the GAS version (EX). Nice car, but would have loved a little more powerful engine. Just as reference, my 2016 VW golf was 600 lbs lighter with 170 HP and 200 ft-lb of torque vs Hondas 190 HP and 179 ft-lb of torque at a similar rpm. The golf also had MORE storage area in the front cabin. I guess at least my Honda won't be burning through a quart of oil every 1000 miles when it turns 7.
For 40k I would consider an odyssey. Those things are much cheaper than the large suv class (pilot etc) yet provide more space, big engine, more seats, and sliding door. Minivans are underrated
Maybe right I also have the 2.4 L, the thing is how long will you own your car ? 1,5t is here since 2017 never heard any problem of engine except the oil dilution. If you know someone who got a broken 1,5t let me know ! I prefer atmospheric engines over turbos so maybe today engineers are able to make turbo engines as much reliable as old atmospherics, especially Honda ?

First 3 years while I had bumper to bumper warranty dealership did fix it 2 times, and each time problem did reappear next year. I seen that many Honda owners had same issue, but Honda still do not do anything about it.

Nope. Not for a hybrid. It doesn’t even come with a spare tire. The all gas models do come with a spare. Something to consider. I’ve had tires blow out on me a few time. Having that spare is a lifesaver.
Ill stick to my 2016 crv lx which is is 25k with 10k in interest. Base model, no extra trash, baby 2.4l gas only connected to a cvt. Slow, adequate power at best but shes everything i want and more

There has to be a car wash mode in 2024 CR-V Hybrids for automated car washes. Had a nightmarish experience as the car went totally crazy, tried to brake, engaged parking brake & what not. Finally the car had to be turned off, was put in accessories mode and Neutral to finish the wash. Still the parking sensors kept on beeping like crazy. Am I missing something? What is the proper way to do this?

He was getting ready to leave so I traded my 2018 for a LEASE 2020 crv- my lease was up so I traded the 2030 for a 2024…… had it 3 weeks- so far not a fan….. the 2020 was the best and I swear it was bigger on the inside- I’m plus size person and I had no issues with the 2020 but now I feel this is a much tighter fit- yet the salesman told me they were identical.. what’s the deal with charging more for the colors????
Media reports have said the PHEV isn't here yet because of battery sourcing problems, even though it's quite available in Europe. I say that is a marketing lie. Because their first all-electric, the Prologue, is here soon. Got batteries for that? That's the reason why the PHEV isn't in NorthAm. They don't want it competing against their own Prologue, which has to succeed.
I love Honda's new lineup, but every single model (Civic, Accord, HR-V, CR-V, Pilot) looks and behaves as if it is a class bigger. It's really just nickpicking, but I miss the previous HR-V, liked the compactness. (What am I even saying)

gonda did great job. but they should put hybrid to pilot. this is a big handicap. i love the pilot but i got grand highlander hybrid.

Most models come with the 7 in. screen and the wireless charging is not standard, plus it gets hot too easy so wireless in a car is just for show imo
Also the two hybrid models don't have a spare tire, it's a plug/air compressor kit.
Awesome car though. Loving it so far. Just hit 100 miles on it though.
I love Honda's new lineup, but every single model (Civic, Accord, HR-V, CR-V, Pilot) looks and behaves as if it is a class bigger. It's really just nickpicking, but I miss the previous HR-V, liked the compactness.
