In South India they used to put it in English and in North they used to put it in Hindi. Now DTH allows you to pick language. I lived in Bangalore and spent summers in Mumbai. I don't think I would be able to speak Hindi if it wasn't for those summers.

As a 90s kid i have grown up watching dd national shows shaktimaan,junior g and aap beeti and cartoon network like johny bravo,scooby doo justice league,pokemon,power puff girls and beyblade and played it as well disney channel shows like karishma ka karishma,recess,that so raven,vicky aur vetaal,suite life of zack and cody in hindi and dhoom machao dhoom,star one shows choona hai aasmaan,pyaar kii yeh ek kahaani and of course himesh reshmia songs from 2005 to 2007 when his songs were a rage at that time and used to buy cassettes and dance on them at that time i was 12-14 years old. An era when their were no smartphones. Internet was very limited so we used to enjoy doing multiple and creative things outside with my cousins and play games like fire and ice,treasure hunt,hide and seek and rid bicycles on the road by humming dhoom tunes.Cant describe my happiness in words for being a 90s kid🤗.Kids born after 2000s wont be able to have that much fun in their growing years the way we had in this techno crazy era. Hit like if anybody else relates to my experiences
