I love it when mods don’t just add a whole bunch of wacky crazy out of control stuff. They try and make them feel at least at its core vanilla like have a sweet berry flavor instead of strawberry, an alternative to rockets, and unique variations of mobs with special abilities.
I think this mod's greatest strength is that everything is underground and far away, which makes it very easy to not deal with certain mechanics you don't like. For example, if someone doesn't want to be in the deep sea, they don't have to. And it probably won't take a lot of effort to avoid.
This is bringing back memories of this one texture pack back in console minecraft... being a kid and playing with it on for ten minutes at a time before I had to switch to a different world because I felt sick looking at it for too long lol
The Gummy Worm has huge battle potential, imagine spawning that thing in combat while you're in a raid or boss fight and using it against your opponents
Imagine using the polished and chiseled chocolate blocks to make a chocolate temple? It'd look great paired with cookie blocks and gingerbread blocks. Not to mention, Rock candy can be used as murals.
I hope we can get an Adventure Time reference boss in this area. I didn’t come up with it, someone else did, but basically, setting off a nuke in the Candy Cavity’s Dark Tower spawns “Scholar of Golb” or better yet, “Jerry”, which are both names of The Lich, essentially the biggest bad guy that is pure evil in Adventure Time, who spawned from a nuke made with the essence of a comet. Beating him leaves you with something really good, like one of Finn’s Swords, or more likely, a Decay themed candy weapon. Like, something like “Toothrot”, which leaves patches of wither, and can instantly tame mobs…. If they survive.
I hope they add another way of getting cave tablets that's more friendly to old worlds at some points. The average alex's caves world is gonna be tens of millions of blocks wide after a few updates
Its not one biome at a time per crucible, for whatever reason, the crucible converts a large portion surrounding the intended conversion into a plains biome, which will overlap any "nearby" crucibles as well. If you place them super far apart you can have multiple

I really hope in a future update the Candy Cavity gets a secret boss like how the Primordial cave got the luzstructosurus. Also love how the Tremorzilla is basically a crossover between two of the caves so I hope the Candy Cavity and or the other caves get something similar. Either way top tier mod!
Probably all caves will have boss(its needs to have hp bar) and some caves will have as you said "crossovers" with one another Also it would be cool if atomic bomb in candy cavities spawned a new boss, that would be a great reference to adventure time

Theres is an infection mod with a really cool idea, it's call moss overgrowth, it's a "anti-infection" infection and it tries to protect the world and player instead of devouring it
15:06: The confectionary oven could be useful for entertainment. Simply get a bunch of different colored rock candy, get a bunch of the ovens, power them, and watch the gingerbread men fight each other.
The boots might just extend your fall threshold, instead of canceling all fall damage. So after a certain distance you still take damage, that distance just has to be much higher then it would without them
@@KaratFengMinecraft Yea, its a really lovely treasure. At first it has a pretty weird vibe to it, but the more you play it, the more you can actually see how good it is. Plus, the reason I mentioned the Carnival Area, was because the music fits slightly to the Candy Area in both Trove and the Candy Cavity biome in this mod :D
this kind of reminds me of an old texture pack i had, i loved that along with the "end of days", wonder if both have been updated, I'd love to be able to use them if I'm ever able to play agian
