@Marginal Giffri I get where you're coming from, and yes I also think she has changed, but I think it's important to remember that she is a human being just like us (with struggles, ups and downs and all of it), and that sharing her life on the internet is not something she has to do... especially given the nature of vlogs I think viewers should be particularly cautious in voicing criticism since she's sharing her direct lived reality -- again she's just trying her best living her life just like the rest of us. I think the breakup was something quite traumatic for her (and probably not something she wants to be reminded of through comments), and these things do profoundly change you. If you don't like her anymore that's totally fine, you don't have to watch her videos... I do get that there's a sense of grief by missing how someone was in the past, but it's like any friend in your life, you may stay aligned or grow apart and that's ok... part of growing up is learning to be able to cherish the good memories and create new ones in other ways -- perhaps you'll find someone new you'll enjoy watching just as much as you loved watching her in the past... I hope this isn't interpreted as hate. You are amazingly fortunate, but you are increasingly ungrateful. I think many bloggers lead privileged lives, which is wonderful because we all get to watch, but for some of them, as time goes on, without something bigger to think about - children, a partner, God, volunteerism - they become insufferable, hocking their wares and being perpetually dissatisfied with their lives - spouting all kinds of psycho babble and "manifesting" bs. One's life cannot focus on entirely on making content for money. There just isn't a lot of joy here.
If you have to start something with “I hope this isn’t interpreted as hate” maybe best to keep it to yourself. Would you walk up to someone on the street and critique their profession and lifestyle? Why do you feel it’s okay to do it here? Better yet, why are you watching? If it’s not for you then see yourself to the door 🚪, it’s wide open. Life is way too short so why not use the time spreading love and joy, not judgment and hate. Like you said, there’s plenty of “bigger” things to think about.
