6月･･･日曜の昼下がり。東京は連日の雨降り。よって こんな日は自宅にてせっせとyou tubeアップに精を出すのも悪くないな。今回のアップは日本アニメのクラシカルにして･･･未だに根強い人気を博す｢ルパン三世シリーズ｣初期オープニングをセレクトしました。本作品が初めてTVアニメ化されたのは1971年。実に半世紀以上も前というのは驚きでしかない気がします。第一期連載以降･･･この作品は何度もシリーズ化され 劇場版も人気を博し 広く世界に紹介されています。この作品が画期的だったのは ターゲットを少年少女世代だけでなく 最初から青少年世代をターゲットにしていた点にありますね。1970年代初期の日本のアニメは その殆どが当時の少年少女世代を対象にしていました。為に 原作ではエログロありのなかなか刺激的な作品も アニメではかなりソフトな内容にアレンジされていました。然しながら｢ルパン三世｣は･･･最初から なかなかセクシー&スリリングな内容が満載でした。初めてこの作品を私が観たのは小学5年生でしたが ヒロイン峰 不二子の魅力には戸惑いながらも熱中したのも無理なかったかな？それ以上に 主人公ルパンと彼を取り巻く脇役･･･( 否 脇役ではなく彼ら自身も準主人公でしたが )達の魅力あふれるキャラこそが 半世紀以上も続く人気の源であった気がします。ルパン三世の原型は｢トム&ジェリー｣にあるそうで 原作者のモンキーパンチ氏がトム&ジェリーの掛け合いが好きで そのまま作品のモチーフとして採用したとか？その一方で 主人公ルパン三世が フランスの作家｢モーリス･ルブラン｣の代表作｢アルセーヌ･ルパン｣の孫と云う設定でありながら ルブランの遺族には著作権許可を取っていなかった為 本国フランスでは 著作権が消滅する2012年以降まで 放映許可が下りなかった･･･なんて云う話もあるそうです。ともあれ･･･発表から半世紀以上が経過し 原作者モンキーパンチ氏や初期の声優を務めた面々が仏門に帰依した今日でも 様々な形で｢ルパン三世｣シリーズが継承されている事実には 改めて驚嘆します。世代を超えた日本アニメの金字塔･･･そう云って良いのではないかな？

June... Sunday afternoon. It's been raining every day in Tokyo. So on a day like this, it's not bad to work hard at home and upload videos to TH-cam. This time, I selected an early opening of the "Lupin the Third" series, which is a classic Japanese anime and still enjoys strong popularity. This work was first made into a TV anime in 1971. It's amazing that it was more than half a century ago. Since the first serialization... this work has been serialized many times, and the movie version has also become popular and has been widely introduced to the world. What made this work groundbreaking is that it was targeted not only at boys and girls, but at the teenagers from the beginning. Most of the Japanese anime in the early 1970s was aimed at the boys and girls of that time. Therefore, the original work was quite stimulating with erotic and grotesque content, but was arranged to be quite soft in the anime. However, "Lupin the Third" was full of sexy and thrilling content from the beginning. I first saw this movie when I was in the fifth grade, and although I was confused by the charm of the heroine Fujiko Mine, I guess it was only natural that I was fascinated by her. More than that, I think the charming characters of the main character Lupin and the supporting characters surrounding him (no, not supporting characters, they were secondary protagonists themselves) are the source of its popularity that has continued for more than half a century. Apparently the prototype of Lupin III is "Tom & Jerry", and the original author Monkey Punch liked the dialogue between Tom & Jerry so much that he adopted it as a motif for his work. On the other hand, it is said that although the main character Lupin III is set as the grandson of "Arsène Lupin", a masterpiece by French author Maurice Leblanc, copyright permission was not obtained from Leblanc's family, so permission to broadcast the movie in France was not granted until after 2012, when the copyright expired. Anyway...more than half a century has passed since its release, and even today, when the original author Monkey Punch and the original voice actors have converted to Buddhism, the fact that the "Lupin III" series has been passed down in various forms is a marvel to me. I think it's fair to say that it's a monumental work of Japanese animation that transcends generations.
