who in the world would dislike this video? Great tips sometimes people make these videos and they aren't sharing anything new. I learned some new tips from this video👍
Hi. Jamie sent me and he said hi! I always thought I was an organized person but apparently not with crafts! I love the cereal boxes idea. I have lots of them with 5 grandkids! Will be doing that tomorrow
Another thing you can do with the clip hangers.... If your kitchen cabinets have handles you can clip recipes/cook books to them and hang them while you're cooking to get them off of your counter. It also puts it closer to eye level for easy viewing.
I put down a thin plastic cover over mine. So much better than trying to clean the oil/dust, etc. out of the cracks on the top and sides. Why they have to "texturize" the top and sides, I don't know.
I use waxed paper for this. It's even cheaper and, if you're not moving things off and on, it stays in place (or you can add a little bit of painter's tape to hold it). I also line the top of my kitchen cabinets with waxed paper. When it's time to clean, I remove it, throw it out and add a fresh layer.
I used to work as a cashier at a craft store, so we had lots of little old ladies coming through. I saw someone who had a piece of cellophane tape making a tab like you showed. I don't even know how many people I suggested this to; I even put on more than a few tape tabs to help them out. It REALLY works!
Your channel is my mental health break. I always come ways from them feeling positive and capable of facing anything. I love your tips and tricks. Thank you.
Love your videos! I know I’ve already mentioned it, but you have such an upbeat, bubbly personality (without being over-the-top)-I find it uplifting and calming at the same time.
I had a large number of rubber stamps. Many were large foam type that took up a lot of room. I bought a bunch of the aluminum grill pans from Dollar Tree and created layers of stamps by types/seasons etc. I was able to put a bunch of the pans in a big plastic tote. Easy to find what I wanted and keep stamps safe.
I have one of those! I put hooks in mine too! It's been on the wall inside the back door for many years now. All keys get hung up there so they never get lost :) We did the same thing! :) But the shelves in mine kind of collect clutter so I like your idea better!
I lived there back with the little dt containers in the aluminum foil box!! Ooo and the clips from pants hangers! Genius. And I recently visited my Mom who has arthritis, and she had tape on her card.
I have been putting tape on my license for years! A lady at the Walmart pharmacy shared it with me because I was struggling to get it out of my wallet. It's an amazing idea! I need to do it to all my cards even my insurance cards. Thank you for sharing these wonderful tips and tricks. I don't have any space for my crafting supplies. Our home is too small. I love your ideas! Thank you 🙂
You don't have room for a small tote box for supplies? A small pack of paper, a few sentiment stamps, maybe a few punches and embossing powder, and scissors and you have a kit for making greeting cards. Or, if you can afford it, get the Canon Ivy printer (it's tiny, prints 2 x 3 in photos) and a few pieces of paper. Fold the paper, staple the paper at the fold to create a booklet and scrapbook your daily life. You need a smartphone with a camera to use the Canon. See Heba on My Little Journal on TH-cam.
Loved all of your tips. I have cut up cereal boxes to separate rrows of socks and create storage spaces for different types of undergarments- sports bras, camis, t-shirt bras, shapewear, etc.
Thanks again Norrine for sharing your passion for Press and Seal. As one of the early product inventors and passionate users of Press and Seal, it’s fun to find kindred spirits.
Norrine, we used to do all kinds of brainstorming sessions to find alternative uses for product demonstrations in commercials. There are zillions of uses. I’ll go back in my files and try to find some of those sessions, there were so many great ones. @Vicki Rivera at P&G there’s always a huge team of people that work on every product. It’s never a one person deal. I’ll look up in my files other names. I’m sure her hubby is one of the many. It was also developed as part of our joint venture with Glad, so he may not even have been at P&G.
I have been using the page markers that Dollar Tree sells in their office section to put on my drivers license n bank cards for ease of getting them out for years now. Great lil hack! Love the idea of using cereal boxes for organizing! You always have such great ideas, tips n hacks‼️ Thank you SO very much for sharing❣️😊💜💜💜
Oh my goodness Norrine...the foil, parchment paper boxes ect...genius idea to store things! I use tape for my cards in my wallet as well! As always ,thank you for sharing your tricks & hacks with us! Stay safe, healthy and positive! God bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
I LOVE your videos. Using layers in my storage bins is going to be huge!!! I already have foam core. I think using cardboard from Amazon shipping boxes would also work. And the hanger clips is brilliant. ❤️ Shirley
The tape on the ID card/credit card is really great! I don't have hand issues per se, and it's hard for me to get out my cards. Thanks for alllll the tips!!
Genius to use the tape On the cards!! Done the clips off the hangers before but never thought about using them as clamps for my art projects another smart idea. TFS! Namesta my friend 🤗🐞🥰
I use cereal boxes (and all other boxes as well😊)for so many things. If I find the box I’d well used and perfect , I may then buy a sturdier container for the item. Love your ideas. ❤️
I The press and seal is great for when you have paints, gesso, and other paste to keep them air tight and fresh. I use those hangers to hang my slacks and pants because I do not have dresser space, also for scarfs. That tape is great idea and I do work at the DMV lol. I can suggest this for my clients. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. Hugs from Utah
Great ideas!! I had no idea those little square containers fit inside of those boxes. My daughter, granddaughter, and I have a lot of those and I never could figure out how to store them. Thank you for the idea!! They are going to be as happy as I am. Angela's layered trays are a phenomenal idea!! Especially, for moving, or storing things until you get to your new house. 💕 LOVE the tab on the license! Definitely will be using that idea for my mom, since she won't let go of her wallet for an easier one. Lol
I used nail polish on wooden clothespins to fancy them up and then I use them to close cereal bags, hang gloves, etc. They are easy to make attractive and fairly inexpensive.
Awesome ideas! I learned Post it makes removable file tabs, found in office supply dept. works very well on credit cards and ID's, just like the shipping tape 🙂 They come in colors and you can identify certain cards use a color for discount cards and different color for specific cards. I use red on cards I rarely use green on my debit Yellow on credit Have a great day 😊
I was at a doctors office when they wanted to see my drivers license. I just switched to a new wallet, and is having a hard time getting it out. The Receptionist, after I got my license out, put scotch tape on my card. It was such a help that I also taped my credit card! I need to get some of that press and seal. I’ve never tried it Thank you for all these wonderful ideas. I appreciate your hard work
My hands struggle with pulling cards out of those wallets that store cards in the sleeves like that. My sis in law bought me a new one for my birthday a couple of years back where the card opening is on the long side, they are super easy to get in and out as they stick out more from the opening. There is also a notes sleeve behind it and I store gift cards/points cards short side up so they stick out to me when I'm taking my reg card out to pay and remember to collect my points/use a coupon/gift card. I thought I'd share in case anyone didn't like the idea of putting shipping tape on cards or couldn't because of the chip/contactless getting in the way.
Another great use for those clip hangers is to hold large 18”x24” zip-lock bags filled with Bulletin Board sets or posters and hung on a closet rod. Bible class or School teachers can easily search for what they need. I label bags with 2”x4” Labels assigning a number and topic title & keep a catalog for our Bible Class teachers to access on our church website listing these bagged sets. I also collect recipes & keep a printed letter-size copy in page protectors filed in binders. When I want to access a recipe I remove it & place it on a clip hanger, then hook the hanger to the upper cabinet knob above my prep space.
I love the tape tan idea for your wallet! This is genius and I can't wait to do it! I've struggled with this and it's gotten worse as I get old. Thank you and your subscriber that let you know about this amazing hack!😍
Hi Norrine, I just discovered your You Tube videos and really appreciate your nice looking and thrifty ideas! I am converting my son's old room into a scrapbook room. I discovered this most recent video and really appreciate all the tips. My favorite is the tab for getting cards out of the wallet slot for people with arthritis this is genius! I am wondering if you could please make a video on container ideas for clear stamps and dies. I tried to upcycle some Amazon boxes for storage but unfortunately I need containers that are able to handle more weight that look nice and can handle frequently being pulled and pushed off my shelves. Thank you for all your time and effort in putting your videos together.
Those organizing ideas were awesome Norrine! But that last wallet one....genius! Thanks again for all your ideas and suggestions! God Bless my friend! 🥰💜
Norrine, I have been watching your channel for several months and I don't think you have ever done a live video. See Einstein the Texan parrot on Sundays for an example. During live videos, people can donate through the Super Chat feature. Any amount, $1 up to hundreds. Einstein's owners send the money to parrot rescue groups but you should keep it and apply it to buying your RV. I SO want you to get that RV. It will be fun for you and for us to watch. I enjoy your channel.
I'm Australian and I've never heard of Press and Seal. We have Glad Wrap but not that. I love the hanger clip, big box trays and card tricks. Just brilliant!
In the first video showing Press and Seal around the top of a container, I had no idea what the product was, but now I know it comes on a roll like plastic wrap
Wow, so many great ideas! The tape in the license is brilliant! I keep a mini multi tool in my purse, and I have needed to use pliers to pull my license out more than once! This is much easier! The long boxes for washi tape and the mini boxes that fit will be a real game changer for me too! Thanks for all the great ideas!
I don't know if this was mentioned (there are too many comments to read through!!), I use Press n Seal for lining my paint tray when I don't have the correct liners left. Once I'm done painting, I just peel it off and throw it out. I also use it to wrap my paint brush and cover the paint tray or bucket when I'm done for the day but need to finish the next day. For the roller, I use a plastic grocery bag to cover it while I wait to get back to work. I love your idea of using it for the fridge liner -perfect!
I love this! I especially like the layered trays. What a great idea! Rather than spending money on foam board, I think I will try cardboard and duct tape. I hope it works as well. I also like the paper trays made from cereal boxes and the little containers in the foil boxes. I can’t wait to try these! Thanks for the great content.
Great ideas Norrine, yes I've used the tape on the side of my driver's license because slot it was in was difficult to get a grip on. Was showed this tip from a cashier at a store. She just used plain cellophane tape, a small piece is all it took and it's still working great, years later. Thanks for sharing. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
@@vickirivera1052 hello Vicki, I'm in the southwest quadrant if you divided Arkansas into 4 pieces. It seems like everyone I come across from Arkansas is in the northwest area of Arkansas and at least 1 in the northeast area. Sure would be nice to find someone crafty in my area to be creative with, at least once in awhile. I pray that you are doing well. Take care and God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
Another great video ❣️ I love the press-n-seal ideas and the pull tab on my driver's license 🤦 don't know why I never thought of it. As for storage inside of storage, I've done this for years. I use foam core board and fabric if it's in a container that I need items more protected I pad the foam before covering with fabric. I also add a fabric tab to each end to make it easier to pull out. I've got several "decorative" trunks I use for storage in my living room. I have fabric, zippers, D rings, findings used in making purses. They're different sizes but similar motifs(I buy them on clearance) and stack them according to size.
Great tips. I love the tabs on the dl and credit cards. I struggle with getting those out of my wallet. The clips on those hangers are an ingenious idea. Thanks for sharing!
I like those ideas with the Press n Seal - I'll have to try that! Also like the tape on the card to pull it! I also like that idea of using layers in a box for craft items. When working with small spaces, I try to think vertical, rather than just horizontal. I use those over-the-door shoe holders for all kinds of things - sorting paints, other items, etc. The pockets are clear, so you can see your supplies at a glance.
We’re moving to FL (from MI) this fall & because of you I keep every shipping box that comes in. I’ve used the shoe boxes and other small boxes to pack my crystal and other fragile items in. Then those boxes go inside larger moving boxes. 😃😃😃💕💕
Thank you for another brilliant video. I’m just about to move some paperwork out of a cabinet in the room I do crafting so I can use the space for some crafting goodies I’ve been gifted…. It’s a really deep drawer and I have just bought some foamcore board to make inkpad holders. I had better keep some to make a tray for the deep drawer to double up its useful space. A very well-timed tip. Thank you ❤️
@@TheCraftyOrganizer Don't think I could stay focused on my clean-up/organization if it wasn't for your videos. Almost done with my craft room now so I can send pics & maybe a video walk thru.
I forgot to mention: I hung an inexpensive, plastic needlepoint/embroidery mesh/canvas on the wall to hold my pierced earrings. The post earrings could be placed anywhere, and the hooped ones were best at the bottom. However, I wasn’t pleased at the dust that accumulated.
The tab on the card is a great idea!!! Whoo hoo! But the cup hooks on a wood strip to hang your jewelry is not so good. You will have dusty, dirty jewelry that you won't wear. The newer acrylic boxes are dusty all the time too and the visual is cluttery. My tip for jewelry... I found a wooden, felt lined toolbox at Lowes about 18 yrs ago. It's a big chest with pull out drawers. I only paid $50 for back then. It holds all my jewelry and keeps it clean and dust free. I know they are probably more now but it was one of my best buys of all times. I had tried Buxton jewelry boxes (more expensive and they don't last that long), wooden boxes, and drawers until I found my tool box. Google machinist tool box. If the wooden ones are too expensive (the price of wood), why not a regular metal tool box with the drawers? They won't be felt lined but if you are crafty, line it with felt yourself. Another tip... For rings, I used a tiny muffin tin and put it in one of the long tool drawers. That gave me the little individual compartments.
I've seen those types of tool boxes - they are amazing! Sadly, not that inexpensive anymore - but if you have lot's of jewelry that you enjoy - it may be worth the investment. Thanks for the great tip, Sharon!
@@laurahodges3615 I use the bobbin storage boxes or craft organiser boxes for earrings and bracelets etc I hang my necklaces on a coat hanger in the wardrobe so it's right next to my outfits and dust-free. I do the same with scarves and belts too

Another thing you can do with the clip hangers.... If your kitchen cabinets have handles you can clip recipes/cook books to them and hang them while you're cooking to get them off of your counter. It also puts it closer to eye level for easy viewing.
Another Press n Seal tip: Lay a layer of it on TOP of your fridge when clean…….when it’s dusty, just rip it off and replace. No scrubbing. 😘
OMGosh! That is brilliant!!!!
I use a plastic tablecloth from the dollar store. They can over hang a little and look pretty depending on the color I choose. 😉

Me also. I learned from the lady that checks me in for X-rays. She showed me that trick of using tape.
The long boxes for washi tape and the mini boxes that fit will be a real game changer for me too! Thanks for all the great ideas!
You are so welcome!!!!
You are great. Thank you so much. Love these ideas.
Great tips! My husband has been using the clips on the hangers for the same purpose for years and I love the idea about putting tape on your ID.
Yay! Thank you so much!
Loved all the tips! ❤🙌🙌
Glad you liked them!!
Love the driver's license tip
I don't know if this was mentioned (there are too many comments to read through!!), I use Press n Seal for lining my paint tray when I don't have the correct liners left. Once I'm done painting, I just peel it off and throw it out. I also use it to wrap my paint brush and cover the paint tray or bucket when I'm done for the day but need to finish the next day. For the roller, I use a plastic grocery bag to cover it while I wait to get back to work.
I love your idea of using it for the fridge liner -perfect!
OMGosh! What a great idea!!!!! Thank you for sharing! :D
Cardboard totally works!!!! :)
Hi, Becky! That's awesome! I really love using it in my wallet. Have a great day!
Hey Becky, I'm also in Arkansas. North west. What about you?
So smart!!!! Thanks for sharing, Dianne!
Great tips. I love the tabs on the dl and credit cards. I struggle with getting those out of my wallet. The clips on those hangers are an ingenious idea. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful! 🌺
Great ideas! ❤️
Thank you!! 😊
I’ve been using the tape on the license, etc in my wallet for years too, but not shipping tape. Thank you once more, Norrine❣️❣️❣️
If you add strips of packing tape place it on the opposite end from your chip.
I love vertical storage whenever possible too. Thanks for watching!
Amazing! Never would have thought about tape on cards. Gonna give this a try!!
It's such a great trick! Hope you like it!
We’re moving to FL (from MI) this fall & because of you I keep every shipping box that comes in. I’ve used the shoe boxes and other small boxes to pack my crystal and other fragile items in. Then those boxes go inside larger moving boxes. 😃😃😃💕💕
Nice!!!! And you will have lots of boxes to use if you want to DIY something after your move! :)
Thank you ❤️
Yes!!!! And make sure to add a pull tab on those layers, makes it so easy to lift out when you need them. :)
So many wonderful tips and ideas, again! You are a font of useful information. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome as usual!
You're the best! Thanks for watching, Patricia!
Great tip! Wonder if it could have a little cover made to go over it made out of a sheet protector or something....
@@TheCraftyOrganizer I stopped wearing all that costume jewelry a decade ago. You could probably put a frame with the back removed over it.
The little tab on cards is something I'm going to do right now!
Woohoo!!!
Hello my friend.
Hello my friend. Is fall weather starting to visit you yet?
@@TheCraftyOrganizer no, the nights are still even hot.
Love to tabs on the cards.
We have used Press ‘n Seal to waterproof a cast in the shower!
Brilliant!!!!!!! And much easier than trying to tape on a large bag! LOL
Fishing tackle box for people who smaller collection of jewelry
@@laurahodges3615 I use the bobbin storage boxes or craft organiser boxes for earrings and bracelets etc I hang my necklaces on a coat hanger in the wardrobe so it's right next to my outfits and dust-free. I do the same with scarves and belts too
This was a jam packed video, with loads of tips! Thank you….
