As an LCK viewer, I absolutely love the vision toggle. It keeps you in suspense as you view it as a player. And the best part is that it's not always guaranteed that there will be a play. Sometimes, as Medic said, the champion in the bush is long gone but we won't know that until the player we are observing walks into the bush.

Interesting to listen to this after the fact. at around 40:00 they talk about Mid and Jg on T1 being weaker than LNG and Faker and Oner ended up showing tf up and running the games, outside of Faker getting down on CS in G3 in what is supposed to be a losing matchup.
Even then. Faker going down on cs in G3 is because he left lane early to get lane prio and keep scout in lane or back up Oner for the invade. Absolutely wild.

And after gapping Scout 2 games in a row he might as well just play for the team in that matchup, his Azir will always be relevant in most games anyway. Oner getting POS was just the cherry on top. I just hope T1/JDG goes 5 games again, banger series last time.

Really wish the same group came back from last week after vedi said all that nonsense about G2 being favored against most of the teams they could face. Would love to see Azael back to take his victory lap

Was that after Game 3? There is no reason to roast Vedius for that, everyone had G2 as favorites over NRG, that isn't him being delusional.
Even afterwards at 2:2 they could have played against: Team from their region they beat to secure first seed, team they beat for their second win (in an absolute nailbiter tbf), the team they beat for their first win (again a nailbiter), BLG who they drew and KT who are probably fairly close to BLG.
Even now, with them eliminated, it isn't crazy to say that they would have been favorites (or at worst evenly matched) against 3 out of 5 teams they could have drawn.
for people that are unfamiliar with the Chovy/Knight dynamic here's a helpful mnemonic to remember:
Chovy is "KK", or "Korean Knight" and
Knight is "CC", or "Chinese Chovy".

Think he means in terms of standout performance - TheShy has been Weibo''s best because he's consistently playing like 8/10 9/10, whereas his entire team is mostly inting and sometimes popping off, which means they stand out a little more (both good and bad)
TheShy has the highest damage share of any top laner at the tournament, and has the highest GD average at 14 minutes. The dude has been gapping in every game. Light has been the only other consistently good member for WBG though.@@antwanterrl3307

19:55 weird bad take by Medic. He's usually got great takes, but TheShy has the highest damage share of any top laner at the tournament and has an average GD @ 14 of +600g. The dude is playing out of his mind for his team. He's been the most consistent part of WBG besides Light.
You have to remember that Weibo have only won against western teams. TheShy has garnared those stats from facing much weaker western top players .
Medic is pretty good as a caster, but never been particularly good in analysis.

People look at stats but don’t look at champs.. getting higher damage playing only Astro’s and rumble against western teams IS Inferior to tank players vs eastern teams, it’s a fact

Seems like internet issues are impacting T1 and maybe JDG/GenG.
If T1 does drop to LNG it will be Fakers lowest placement at Worlds.
This quarters is pretty interesting because it may be the closest we’ve had matchups between the teams.
We have had matchups that were supposed to be close before quarters quite often.
Most of the time it just turns out the assumption was wrong and at least some of the series become stomps.
Is this gonna be another case of casters underestimating T1 and them leveling up all the way into finals?

Sounds like they did and it wasn't great, but seems like Medic took those lessons to heart. He's been great so far this worlds, all of the flair while keeping focus on the game itself. I'd love a medivedi podcast v2 that's more similar to The Dive, EUphoria, POG State, and not a costreamer reaction video
The entire EU fanbase, casters, and analysts nonstop yapping that "this is their year" for months now and "G2 can win it all" and then when they get humbled they still try and find the slightest bit of copium in "scrim wins" and please "don't flame the players" when those players were more busy making meme dance videos than playing on stage and taking this seriously.

Which is why it is so weird when people act like T1 are massive favorites - it is a great series because it looks both close and high level on paper (WBG/NRG might be close, but didn't look as good, JDG and GenG look like fairly large favorites).
