Scoobz beautiful birchir especially the yellow in the fins & tail, stunning contrast against the body ❤ If your two woods don't fit together get a saw out 😜😂 I liked the first piece 👍 If that shop was by me I would have been in their deffo a couple of hour's.
@@peridot-20 Thank you! And yeah might have to trim a bit, should be fun 😂 and ahh fish planet is amazing, well worth the visit. It reminds me of that store I went to in Germany
@@ScoobzNPetz Yes just get the saw out & hand dremil & you'll be well away 😂😂 Sorry if this is off topic but today my hubby was removing clungs of moss on the roof & new growth on it was lovely, just the sort people hunt for to put in aquarium's, I know if I still add mine some would be treated & added.
@@peridot-20 oh wow I didn’t think about adding moss from outdoors, that’s so cool! how would you treat it? With Allum powder? And feel free to change topic whenever you like 😂 we can talk about anything, even the weather lol
@@ScoobzNPetz Well it's been nothing but rain here 🤣 You need solid pieces of thick moss & remove as much dirt underneath but enough to hold it together, treat with Alum powder by washing the mosd thorough under cold water, then in the Alum for 48hrs, then another good wash & you then glue it to wood & rock.
@@peridot-20 same here 😂 although when the sun comes out it’s boiling lol and ahh I see, thank you for the tips! If I ever add moss I’ll keep this in mind for sure
Nice fish scoobz I wanted one of these but they had none in stock so I got an Armoured Bichir sadly he passed away couple months ago he was still young they are cool fish and they date back to the dinosaur times (Known as a living fossil, this species dates back over 400 million years and retains the body structure like that of prehistoric fish) is what I read and they get pretty big like 60cm
@@kyle-tx7ce sorry to hear about yours passing and yeah I read something similar when I was doing my research! It’s crazy to think about but they’re basically dinosaurs 😅
@@Magicwerx I was the same when I first started, I only ever went to Pets at home where the selection is minimal. Then I discovered wholesale tropicals and fish planet and everything changed 😂😂

@@S1xroom Thank you! And yeah I know 😅 I’m gonna keep mine as long as I can and then I’ll try find a nice new home for him
