These shadows are so pretty on you. They remind me of that first, early spring breeze - super fresh and hopeful. There's something very youthful but also sophisticated about them. You always look younger than you are but this made look like you're in your early 30s - in a good way, not a trying too hard way. I had pretty much decided to pass on all these latest spring collections since they look like things I have already. If this hadn't arrived broken for you and a few others, I would have changed my mind. Once is a fluke, more than that is a quality control issue. If this were to arrive at Saks or Nordies (I'll be checking in Minneapolis while I'm in town next week), I might snatch it up. Earlier this month, my Dior SA at Nordies gave me a few samples of the new foundation. I've only tried the radiant version, but I love it. I think it wears so very well and has the prettiest finish. It's definitely something I am considering purchasing. Since it's permanent, I don't have to make that call right away.

Really pretty look and, though I’m afraid to admit it, I’m really tempted by the Popelin palette. That’s saying something since I avoid pink eyeshadows and palettes, in general. I think that the fact it’s so sheer, makes it less…pink. The colors just work so well together.
Grace, I'm quite curious about how your Chantecaille Eye Base is going. My eyelids need a base that holds shadow in place as they tend to get oily after sometime which can move the shadows and crease. My other issue is dry lips. I've heard that the new Chanel Lip/Cheek Balm is very hydrating and would like to know how you feel about it's effect on your lips. You always come through to make your eye makeup look beautiful, even with shades that you don’t wear very often. The foundation looks lovely as well. I’m looking forward to see how it wears over several hours and will be checking the ingredient list before I get my hopes up lol. Hope you enjoy the concert and dinner with your parents. 🤗
