How does this business work? Does Vee buy all needed parts and just not give the quad back until he pays? It makes zero sense to put that kind of money into that thing.
The chain is missing and the axle bolt is loose! I bet this guy parted this bike out and through old scrap parts back on to get it back to rolling! He probably sold the motor and threw a set of junk cases in the frame! Vee you better say your prayers every night that stars will align to get this one back to life!

I have a spare exhaust system. I also have a bunch of parts. Glad to see you bringing back a dinosaur. A lot of ppl get scared when they see bikes like this.
Just a tip when your checking spark the plug has to be grounded. Electric always makes a circle and there is 1 wire in plug wire so the ground is the 2nd wire. One of those spark testers ensure ya have proper ground.
I’d split the cases and check all the transmission gears, even if a few teeth are broke you usually can’t tell by hand turning and shifting it’s when the bike is running even idle rpm u will notice, those carbs can be saved just need cleaned and probably rebuilt. The kid has to love the bike cause what he will have in it he can get something nicer, personally I’d part it out and save up for a better quad

Why in the hell do you need to take apart the side covers and the plastics and pull off the muffler to do a damn tune up? I would pull that side cover to make sure nothing internal is missing either bro. Smh sorry ass mechanic. Your basically doing a full rebuild and restoration due to someone elses stupidity.
yo vee i got a 2012 yfz450 it wasnt starting at all but i could jump solenoid so i changed the relay and solenoid and it fires up in gear with clutched pulled in but not in netural what could it be? pls help me man ive spent so much money already fixing the starting issue.

This bike needs 4k minimum not including man hours. It's toast and something needs to be straightened out with the previous mechanic.
