French and German patrols clash in the early days of the Battle for France. Get the mat here: geekvillain.co... Check out Kick Ass Mail Order here: kickassmailord...
Hey guys, a suggestion and in spirit of the rules: You should only get one "Double Phase". So, when you do roll the following phase and get another double phase (2*6) treat as nothing. Of course, The process starts over again once enemy is done with his phase, and phase goes back to you.
Great battle report as always! Question.. according to a friend, COC has strict rules around who can shoot. In particular models can't shoot through friendly models in unit. So 2 deep .. only the front guy can shoot. I personally find it a bit tough but would be interested how doing this rule would affect games?
I've found that enforcing these rules rigidly is a big improvement. The firepower concentrated on the frontage of a terrain piece goes down, so there is more opportunity to move.
I love the part in the game when Andres squad unsheathed their close combat bread sticks and made salad with the Germans.
😀
Beautiful army travis! Those metal warlord sculpts are some of their best
As always love your layouts and armies, you are a big inspiration to keep me building. Keep up the great work!
Wahoooooo so good to see and hear y'all back at the OG :) Hope you are doing well dude.. right, gonna watch the video :)
Thanks a lot for playing with the French army 🙏🏼🙏🏼😍😍
merci les gars ;)
German Wave 1 platoons have 50mm mortar + 4 squads, Wave 2 platoons have no 50mm mortar and 3 squads.
Gotcha. Missed the four squads part. That is a big difference.
The second wave units must be a lot cheaper then.
Great game and lots of great chat. As usual the dice rolling let you down.
Great terrain. Very nicely done miniatures. 😊 God Bless

We have thought about doing it that way. Maybe make the second double 6 be a 5 at least. We will give it a try
Solid French name, John Baldwin...

There are rules like that. It does not come up very often but it can affect single team squads trying to fit in small places sometimes.

How are you finding chain of command versus Bolt Action? What would you say are the biggest differences between them?
BA is more fast paced, more Hollywood, CoC is more realistic
Awesome Chain of Command game! Bad luck André, but I did start hoping it was a German win...
are you using for ur roads birdsand? is it hard to remove after gaming and is there any dirt remaining on the mat?
It’s river sand. The just take the mat outside and shake it off. No problem.
Good game and I understand Andre's issue with the 5th column dude. The game must've been play tested with this though.
great game yer your right the 5th columnist is pretty over powered should be an easier way to get rid of him
