      What Is Islam?
Islam is not just another religion.
It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
{ “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)
Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him

Put a few spacers (washers) under the coils. The Air Gap will help wonders. And even adding a layer of insulation on the engine side of your heat shield will help. And help keep the heat transfer to a minimum ☺️ And a composite shield would help. Make it larger. Since weight would be less of a consideration. And an idler pulley on the belt,.. blah blah blah ✌️

Nice Mosquito build. I've had two friends who owned Mini 500's. One had a Rotax 2-stoke, the other installed a turbine. Dennis Fetters tried to sue him for doing the mod on an EXPERIMENTAL aircraft! 🤣
The Rotex-powered Mini 500 seized shortly after takeoff (in the deadman zone) but was lucky enough to crash in a freshly plowed field. The pilot walked away without injury. Shortly after, my other buddy sold his Mini (sans turbine) and bought Helicycle.

    • @MitchG
      @MitchG  ปีที่แล้ว

I dont think the carbs have an accel pump but its really not needed since as soon as you leave the ground the throttle will always be at least 50% the rest of the flight. The carbs are easy to access and it takes 5 min to swap jets or raise the needle from summer to winter. I enjoy it!

Positive side of hot air on those carbs.....no icing.
A 2 stroke wants to run on the rich side for piston cooling.....granted it robs a bit of power.....and a weak mix may sound better.....but running weaker is a risk in a 2 stroke.....especially in light load conditions.
My Rotax 503 was near enough fully shrouded....what motor are you running....dont look like a rotax....a Hirth maybe???
But the company that produced my microlight modified the shroud to blow hot air on the carbs.....to help re icing.

  • @jagitmax

That was the point of the heat shield that I made. To shield the coils from the engine heat. I think the spark plug wires deal with the heat just fine the way they are.

If you went like 5000 altitude with that and the engine dies would you still be able to land like how normal helicopters can where just the rotation of falling spins enough to smooth landing?

Have you “flagged” the rotors to check the track? We used tracking flags and an electronic system called vibrex in the army to track the rotors

One blade tip is painted green and one orange. When I get to full rpm, it's easy to see if one blade is out of track so I adjust the pitch links until both colors fly the same tip path. Same thing the computer does but the old fashion way.

This looks as cool as it gets but the pedant in me says t-shirt, shorts and crocs are not much use if something goes pete tong. I spent 38 and a bit years in the Air Force, 25 flying, 10 as a Helicopter Crewman and 15 as C-130 Loadmaster so for me a sensible pair of sturdy boots and some sort of fire retardant flight suit would make real sense. They would also complement that cool looking flying helmet :-)
