Sean, I love everything you bring to us on both channels, thank you...
That is so interesting what that nurse, had to say about the TV..
They say that the telly hipmatioses folk, I know I have spelt it wrong.
It is interesting what she said and I feel the same way about computers and phone's because a lot of teenagers has definitely lost the art of conversation 🙈🙈
I got rid of my TV at Convid because I was sick of the lies that was coming out of that box, haven't watched for nearly 4years now....

That Virginia Creeper will get right under those tiles if he's not careful

You always manage to bring back some magical memories. What a wonderful video. I remember as a young child visiting my grandparents in Penrhiwceiber when they still used gas mantles. You never disappoint. Thank you.

Interesting. It struck me what you said about the introduction of TV and the effect it had on people having conversations. Just look at the effect now with the introduction of Smart phones. Before they came in I'd have a conversation at the bus stop, on the bus and in the stores. Sadly not anymore. All looking at phones and hardly an instore person to interact with. If that's progress I hate it.

These are better than indoor showers. No bathroom to clean.

That tree is at least 500 years old. I have two just like it in my yard.

I’m guessing that Oak tree to be 170 years old, so 1850’s maybe, how much things have changed since then.
I do enjoy photos from the late 1800’s side by side with modern day, old buildings and streets particularly.
With the onset of cell phones in the early 1970’s followed by computers in the early 1980’ and now self driving cars with AI, it’s hard to imagine life 100 years from now. Social media is the new TV and another shift in personal interaction. Before TV many people had good singing voices and a party piece as my father called it, he was born in Liverpool when the police wore capes and rode bicycles for rapid response.
    Cheers from San Diego

Oh my God, you took down the whole climbing plant ! I thought you loved nature . The plant is beautiful, and I was just thinking how lucky you are to buy a house covered in ivy - so classic - and you removed it ! Crazy !
