- For a 2020 Mega Marathon, Michael plays Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand, Game #6 in the Nancy Drew series.

Loving Henrik's National Treasure strategy of stealing something to prevent it from being stolen lololol
I've noticed people get annoyed with this game being 'too educational' because all the puzzles are Mayan themed, but I actually really appreciate that it's so cohesive.
I really don't have a conclusive reason to dislike this one, I just find it boring. I go to sleep when the suspects talk. I do like other forms of edutainment, liking typing dead and where in time is carmen sandiago.
I will say this isn’t my favorite Nancy Drew game, but I do agree that I appreciate all of the Mayan themed puzzles and the educational aspects of the game in general. It’s actually kind of cool.
it's a bit much for kids I think
@@kono9460 As a kid, I found it pretty intimidating to try to remember all the facts to get through the mazes, passwords, etc. I used cheat sheets, lol.
Contrast this to Danger by Design where nothing is coherent. 😂
Henrick knows whats good with his mask on for corona
Anyone else in the healthcare field cringing at the MAJOR HIPAA violation the nurse committed by telling a colleague that much medical information over the phone? 😂
I've always assumed this game came out before HIPAA, because I knew HIPAA is younger than a lot of people realize, but some searching has shown me that there's a far more complicated history to HIPAA (first signed in 1996, before the game came out, but all relevant expansions that would've gotten that nurse in trouble not being added until 2003 or later, which is after the game came out).
It's amazing how much privacy regulations and protections for patients has changed in such a short time. Apparently, there weren't ANY federal-level protections at all before 1996?! No wonder an animation team from 2002 didn't think twice before having a nurse spill all that information.
The older I get, the more I agree with Alejandro
Definitely. When I was a kid so much of this went way over my head and I just sided with Joanna because she was our point of contact lol
Punchy LaRue donated to beech hill, same name Nancy was given at the dance club in the Venice game, how funny I never noticed that before 😁
That's the name of one of the voice actors credited in The Final Scene too!
@@ThirstyCartoon That's so funny, makes me wonder if there's more stuff like that throughout the games 😂🤔
That Prudence impression is scary good
nancy going through THREE transfer stations to get back to the red line when she could've just transferred at metro center is raising my blood pressure
Every time it shows henrick working on a project, it weirds me out because it looks like he's not wearing a shirt under the lab coat. :P
FRRR
I'm convinced Michael voiced Prudence Rutherford
I aspire to be her one day
Your voice for Ms. Rutherford though 😂 lmaooo
The cowboy hat at 1:47:18 must belong to Dave Gregory! Suspicions confirmed!
Thanks for sharing. I don't have a computer anymore and miss playing these!!
One of my best discoveries in this game: clicking on the metro map and realizing I could skip the animation.
your prudence impersonation is great
So HerInteractive can animate a creepy Mayan person but they can’t give Henrik a mouth while he works?
Henry Daddle sounds like he’s voiced by Ned’s voice actor!
Although the Mayan games were challenging for me. I still enjoy the game after I finally finished it. Another classic Nancy Drew game.
These games were always so fun. My scarlet hand game glitched towards the end and i never got to finish it though :(
This is one of my favorites
It would have been cool if Sonny’s picture and list of cameos in The Silence Spy
Everyone else was in the museum where it happened
the museum where it happened
the museum where it happened. But,
Henrik was the only one in the room where it happened.
Alejandro del Rio = Alexander of the River.
so I've done everything but for some reason, the conversation where I get her number never happened and if I call the number it goes to her voicemail? Should I start the game over?
Why did taylor sinclair end up getting mad at the end?? He got the thing he was looking for right? I don’t understand...why did he say “confound you nancy drew!”?
Joe Perez the document he swiped from Nancy was blank, the document that was in the hidden compartment was the real writings
@@TheMadWrldEffct oh okay! Thank you for explaining that! 🙂
Welll now it’s been spoiled thanks I guess
@@mxttyisvxntage3403 it’s a obvious? There’s no reason to hide a blank document in a secret compartment
umo Johanna was mean and it would not have made me sad if her exhibit failed
If I was asked for documents like that I would take pictures of them on an easy to recognize spot, make a copy of the documents, and hand over the copies to the person. Not the originals. Just in case someone decided that if the documents went bye bye they could attempt to get the items. The originals and proof they exist puts those jerks on hot coals.

Nancy is so annoying in this game lol. She immediately sides with Joanna so she gets so worked up about things she doesn’t know ANYTHING about 💀 like why is she yelling at Alejandro for not caring enough or about his opinions on Henrik and Joanna. You don’t know any of these people Nance 😂

Anyone know how to get the games made for XP/Vista to run on a brand new laptop?? The fixes on the HerInteractive just won't work for me.
Run the compatibility program.
You still say “do da do ta do” through the videos 😐
