Dude, the terror going through my mind thinking any one of those cars could just crush you. This is so dangerous. You have to be a good driver and always be prepared to avoid cars that don't see you. They can run you over by accident. Scary, but had to be sooo awesome and fun.

Growing up, a kid in the neighborhood behind mine ran his go kart under a moving school bus. He didn't survive. Bus driver never saw him.

@@Carl.Lettera thanks, I didn't know him personally, but knew of him. He was 12 or 13 if I recall correctly, 4-5 years older than me. Pretty traumatic to hear what happened to him at my age.
As you can imagine, the bus driver suffered from anxiety and depression the rest of his life. He never drove a bus after that day, and hardly ever drove a car.
Still brings tears after 45ish years.
@@yakbreeder its absolutely heartbreaking. It hurts a lot more people than some can imagine. Not just that kid. his Family, the bus drivers family. Their friends. Their neighbors. The people told of the story. All of them are slightly different after learning something like that.

Dude, that was a DREAM ride. You guys would've never gotten away with this if you were driving gas karts. I really can't wait until electric karts become more popular. I have an offroad gas powered kart (18 horsepower 440cc) that I would LOVE to convert to electric.

Dude, this is my first time watching a video about this. I love to ride go karts. It turns me into someone else. Unfortunately the only action I get is the local go cart place. I use to own go cart with a roll over cage on it. I loved picking up the neighborhood kids and taking them for rides. You inspire me. But your consideration is awesome for your fellow driver is amazing!!.

1.) About how much run time are getting out of that battery?
2.) any plans for a couple of status displays?
3.) DOM tubing or hot rolled for the frame?
4.) CVT for speed?

aside from running the red lights and messing with that woman for no reason, I also found that kind of... unnecessary, but I know that wasn't the uploader.
@@DeadSpacedOut yeh agreed and 5:20 coz they only made that gap coz the car slammed on the brakes. you have 2 options that you can switch between , you can either drive like a normal car but you have to leave extra space coz its so hard to see you down there, or you can drive like a pedestrian or bmx rider and go around cars but then you gotta know that they dont have to give any way to you so you have to judge it really well, they did neither and just somehow found a guy who can notice a go kart pulling up next to them (i would have either ended up closing the gap for one or accidently running into them because they are so low) you also cant expect people to see you in mirrors coz blocking out some of what you see is part of driving and if i dont see a car sized solid object in my mirror logic goes that its not important and i wont notice it. I still want one though

I'm guessing the run time totally depends on driving style. A CVT is technically not really necessary with electric motor flat torque curve but it could actually make this thing even more badass.

Having just watched this in 4k my adrenaline is through the roof. I used to muck about on 40mph off-road Mud Bug carts when I used to marshal paintball many years ago here in the UK so I can appreciate the fun these must be at almost double the speed, just inches above the ground and in an urban setting. Had to sub and thanks.

You'd be surprised how much a standard car would feel like a go kart when you remove the windshield. The airflow effect is fairly impractical, but it's a game changer.
