What beautiful words Gerald Ford spoke about Jimmy Carter, and perfectly delivered by the late president’s son. A beautiful message that unfortunately many in America will not hear or take to heart.

It's hard to believe that 18 years have passed since Carter spoke at Ford's funeral. I remember seeing that on tv as a kid, & now Ford's son gives his eulogy for Carter.

The perfect eulogy! Hopefully it spoke to the five living presidents.

I can't believe that's Steven Ford. I feel old today. Farewell, Mr. Jimmy. God speed 🙏.
May your example of goodness, peace, and love shine today, and all of the tomorrow's to come.

He demonstrated Christ n his life his treatment of less fortunate. I voted for him n the day. He was one of peace with nothing to prove.

no human is perfect, but we try to be good people. I genuinely feel this was a good man. In a time where people of integrity are hard to find, lets show gratitude for the contributions made over the decades by this person.

Just to add, Andrew Carter, you gave me grace in Rwanda when I didn't deserve it. I met you at the Ibis Hotel, having no idea, as a very ignorant young American. I will never forget the grace you gave me. I'm still here in Rwanda, and I know so much more now. You did so much for us here.

This "dual eulogy" -- I just watched Carter's on behalf of Ford -- is a testament to our humanity and to the friendship we all can share, regardless of our differences, if we just give it half a chance.

That was exactly what I would expect between two fine gentlemen of a bygone era. Well done...

Do yo believe that Donald Trump will applied to himself that message between two president references and the values to respect each other for that matter?? I believe it will go true one hole of his ears and true the other it goes 😊

Have to agree with somewhat. Gerald Ford pardoned the most corrupt president in American history, up until that time.

Ford pardoned the most corrupt president in American history, that is until Trump. I lived through Watergate, the carpet bombing of Cambodia Laos, the enemies list, Daniel Elsberg’s doctor’s off ice burglary, bribery attempt of federal judge, etc etc. Nixon spawned Roger Stone, one of his “dirty tricksters’ , who Trump pardoned. Ford covered as much of that as he could. Corruption.

Jimmy Carter was a husband, father and grandfather. The funeral service was/is as his family requested.
