You are welcome Siva Kumar, there is on small issue that I have noticed on SF250, its the unnecessary ABS intrusion some times, which makes that sound. It happens even when not in high speed. I have spoken to the service center regarding this, but they have no diagnosis yet.

Its comfortable for touring, its good to cruise around 100 to 110 KPH without breaking a sweat. I would suggest you to buy a Claw Bag instead of Saddle Bags as Saddle bags may require saddle stays and top box would require a Rack, you can get it customized. But if you are travelling without a pillion then, claw bag would be the best choice for touring with this bike. If you want any other details, you can ask me at averagehumanvlogs@gmail.com. Suzuki Engines are very reliable and the build quality of the bike is also very good at the price point. The only negative I feel is about the mirrors, which i feel do not provide adequate FOV.

Hamare Gixxer group mai bhi kafi owners ne ecstar ko recommend kiya hai agar smoothness chahiye. Performance and overall ride quality ke liye motul acha hai. Ecstar r9000:- no vibration till 6000rpm, but less performance, bikes feels stressful at redline, heat dissipation is ok. Motul 7100 10w40:- slightly high vibration than ecstar, but bike revs happily, better performance and running life. Agar city mai jyada ride karte ho to ecstar lelo bro....or tour ka jyada shok hai to motul se kisi or pe shift mat hona.
I also have a gixxer SF 250 and it is not accelerating like it used to in second gear.. in first gear the initial punch is also gone.. and whenever I am riding it for like 20 to 30 km the sound of the engine changes and the exhaust sound also changes.... Whenever I am accelerating my bike from stand still position it just stalls in second gear .. in the beginning my bike was not stalling in second gear even with the rider and the pillion on the bike.. I have only ridden it for like 1700km.. please help me brother to get this problem resolved as soon as possible... I think it is due to the valve clearance issue...
Nikunj it sounds like a issue. Did you get it checked out at the Service Center of Suzuki. Can you please let me know which city are you from. Only 1700 km and this issue is worth the worry.
Right now I am 50 km away from Jeypore suzuki service centre... I am at my grandma's house.... That is why I haven't got it checked...my bike is not accelerating like before that is why I got bored and I haven't ridden my bike for like 15 days.. the initial punch in first gear and 2nd gear is gone... I don't know if they will be able to figure out the problem at the service centre.. at first I thought my bike is making weird sound because of the timing chain tensioner and then I did some research and I think it is due to valve clearance issue..
@@nikunjkishorepujari8176 I spoke to the Suzuki Technician in my city about the issue you are facing. He says you need to get it checked out at the service center ASAP as it may have some issue.
Lets see the power figures first Suzuki 250 - Oil Cooled, Engine Output 26.5ps@9300 rpm and Torque 22.2Nm@7300 rpm Pulsar 250 - Oil Cooled, Max Power: 18 kW (24.5 PS) @ 8750 rpm and Max Torque: 21.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm Pulsar is 35 to 40k cheaper than Suzuki, both should be good for City as well as Highway use. With Suzuki you get a better engine and better power ratio and looks too. Ultimately you should decide according to your finance. Suzuki have packaged their 250 cc at a good price bracket below the KTM and Husqies. They will not bring their price down.

@@AmitKumar-uc9lk It's easily evident that the pricing of Pulsar 250 twins is way cheaper than Suzuki Twins, it's your call which suits your riding and budget. Pulsar 250 pricing matches Yamaha's FZ25 pricing, even that's a good bike with proven engine and performance. Still a better bet than Pulsar if the minor difference in power and torque doesn't matter to the buyer.

Yes . At 4500 rpm there is a reverberation. In all gears. This phenomenon is due to clash of frequencies. This is not a vibration, it is a booming sound .
@@Randommotovlogs No . That will be present in all Gixxer 250 bikes. Similar issue is there in several automobiles eg. In bolero at RPM corresponding to 70 kmph in 5th gear, at 65 kmph in TATA 1210 buses etc. etc.

@@hayieeban3339 Normal city riding conditions mein SF has given me 35 to 38. On highway I have got 38 plus easily with 90 to 100 cruising. Even R15 mileage is same around SF 250 in real world riding.
@@punithd5099 R15 is a wonderful 150 cc segment bike, which costs around 1.51 Lakhs ex-showroom, but for just another 30K more, you are getting a higher CC bike with higher power and torque which is good for city as well as highway trips. Gixxer SF250 is also has a relaxed riding position compared to R15 and for pillion also SF250 is comfortable compared to r15. So i would suggest to buy SF250.

Engine Oil was changed in first service and I have ridden only 500 KM since then due to lockdown. So told them not to change engine oil.

We did not change the Engine oil at this service as the bike had done only around 600 kms after the first engine oil change.

Zyada fun to ride r15 hoga. But SF250 trumps in overall performance, quality of materials, and you get a 250 cc for similar pricing.

In city I get around 36 to 38. Highway cruising speed between 90 to 110, I get around 38 to 39. Both these numbers are without pillion rider.
