As a resident of Arizona I am both ashamed and pissed off that the State government will blatantly allow illegal immigrants to vote. They say that without verification of US citizenship, the person I question, ( the illegal immigrant) will be allowed to vote ONLY in Federal Elections, not state and local elections. This is total bullshit and is a direct result of the lame Governor Hobbs stealing the 2022 election. It's easy to win when the candidate is the one in charge of overseeing the election process. I do not understand why anyone who is a legal citizen would mind showing ID to vote. I have ALWAYS shown my ID to vote.
Problem with that is non citizens can get ID'S & Social Security to function in society. The only way it can be fix is through voter ID. Since we get ID's anyway, just add a watermark or add the word citizen on the ID to determine if your a citizen or not. On top of that we can determine if democrats are cheating. That's why democrats are fighting this bill tooth and nail.
You have to show ID to the police in most cases. Why not to vote--where you decide who can be Sheriff or your local, state, and federal representatives?
That's not the problem. The problem is they want you to have to show your passport to vote and lots of citizens don't have one.
The problem with requiring ID to vote is that you're more likely to stop genuine citizens from voting (they forgot it, the clerk erroneously rejects it, they couldn't find it on the day, it got destroyed in a house fire) than you are stop fraud because every audit has shown that fraud already doesn't get through

I feel South Carolina is very lax in addressing the illegal alien issue. Knowing that 3 plane loads of illegals were flown into Spartanburg County and doing nothing to prevent it is unconscionable and irresponsible. More needs to be done. The problem of bus loads of illegals being dropped off in Greenville,and who knows where else, hasn't been addressed, either. If law makers and law enforcers aren't doing anything to stop it, then they are allowing it. All talk, no action.

They don't even need to vote. They get their name on a paper which gets turned into the Government when they come across the border and all it takes is mail in ballots. All the DNC has to do is sign a name that will never be checked in any way. They also have the number of illegals taken to specific areas so they get credit on the census and an extra representatives in congress based on nothing but population not citizenship. A maximum of 1 rep for every 30k population.
Someone within the Dept of Motor Vehicles in CA is obviously registering them as Democrats, when they fill out an application for a driver's license. They can get a driver's license without proof of where they were born.
That's how it happens in CA. That's why they started giving driver's licenses to illegal aliens in CA.

There is considerable evidence that non citizens are being registered to vote by processes in Texas and Florida, for instance. There is no evidence that these non citizens are actually voting illegally. Speaker Johnson recently admitted that there is no evidence.
You are confused. 82M people didn't vote *FOR* Joe Biden. Many of those voters voted *AGAINST* Donald Trump. Trump has done nothing to win over new voters. Quite the opposite.
I'm an independent. I voted against Trump in 2016 because he was unqualified. I voted against him in 2020 because he was still unqualified and objectively bad at the job. That would mean there would have to be a universal federal election law that every state had to follow. A non-citizen is someone who is not a citizen. Citizens are not non-citizens. To be a citizens means you can vote, while to be a non-citizen means you should not vote. But it is understandable that a non-citizen might believe they are a citizen, which is almost the same as being a citizen, plus you get lots of free stuff.

While it is technically illegal to enter the US unauthorized, our US immigration law does allow it. There are routine traffic violations that are 'more' illegal.
Consider this. If a non citizen cast an illegal vote, they will guarantee that they will never become a citizen and they get a guaranteed 1 year to 5 year prison sentence... just to cast one illegal vote. The risk-to-reward ratio is so high that it is unlikely that it happens, except by accident. Also, it can only happen if a state allows that non citizen to register to vote in the first place. So far, the only evidence that this is happening is when states (like Texas) set up some pseudo-automated voter registration systems that accidentally include non citizens.Just because they are registered, doesn't mean they know they are registered, and certainly does not mean they are voting.

When I was drafted, during the Vietnam war, I had to show up in person, show ID, and then proudly give 2 years of my life to this United States of America. The idea that a person can't do the same for a half hour to vote, is just disgraceful. I live in California and as long as we have mail in voting, I will never feel like the outcome is honest.

CA has automatic voter registrations when anyone gets a driver's license. I believe that also happens in NY.

Because it's not about actually getting it through Republicans don't have enough control in the houses to get it through and even if they somehow did Biden wouldn't sign it. A driver licence would tell you if the person is or is not eligible to vote, if the person is not in the voting registration list he/she it can't not vote, if you are not a US Citizen you can't be in the voters registration list

When I registered to vote in 1974, I had to provide my birth certificate and take an oath confirming that I am ( name ), born in (city,state) on (birthdate) to (name of parents). Why on earth do we register anyone thru Motor Vehicle Depts.? Or do MVD send lists of all licensed individuals to the Board of Elections, for them to contact the individuals and go thru the same process I went thru, using birth certificates and oath?
Simple state and local elections can ask and must be provided proof of citizenship to vote. It's against the law to ask the same in federal elections. W t f ?

we have been told that if you live in a city , you can vote in local, county or state elections but not federal. But without any way to tell the difference when it is a federal election as they use same voter registration forms and we can't question any person about the status of citizenship or you are "profiling".
