(my guess for I am a muscles care expert; and I see no one working the way I'd propose). Like a standard mechanics is not suited to a F-1 racing car, standard physio therapy and Sport therapy icare sn't enough for these athletes. They need more hands-on care, but not the way it is done at the moment. And training them differently, or more would not work either. Pitchers throw balls with their muscles, not their joints. Giving daily care to all muscular tissues, tendons included would MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE, I know that for a fact. Have you ever heard of a 10y.o. boy fixing his own sprained ankle on his own, wihtin an hour.... and played the same day afternoon game wihtout pain? That's the result of muscles care. That's OUT OF THE BOX THINKING TOO ! I suppose one could think: "Ya, but he's a kid. An adult body does not react and recover that quickly! You might be right; not recovering as quickly, but the question here isn't about going back right away to the mount to play the same day; but to prevent and reduce these injuries ; as well as make their career last longer. ps; Who am I ? The guy who had all the worse types of pain we know of, including up to 4 migraines a week for a year, as well as sport injuries to the ankle, knees, and shoulders..... BUT fixed myself every single time, on my own, no medication, no assistance ! Give me an opportunity to see these professionnals, and I will prove what I'm saying. THE ONLY WAY TO DISRUPT ANY STATUE QUO IS TO THINK OUT OF THE BOX.

Yes we can. Probably will acquire a fifth starter at the trade deadline. Also Strider did not get TJ he got internal brace surgery. Less invasive than TJ and less recovery time. Apparently a bone fragment was found in his arm from his last TJ.
how about a 5 games series every week with one team with Monday and Tuesdays off. make every series important . start the season in march and have a 30 week season of 150 games . pitchers would have more time to recover .

Correct, he had a bone fragment irritating the ligament. The ligament itself wasn't damaged enough to require repair.
