Tutorial 89 - What is deep learning and convolutional neural networks (CNN)?

Please consider this tutorial to be the first of the series where we explore the topic of deep learning. The video provides a high level description of deep learning by comparing it with the traditional machine learning approaches. It also provides a brief description of artificial neuron and lays the foundation for upcoming deep learning tutorials.

You said the input layer is the pixel values. If we don't supply the labels, how does the classification work?

Please explain Dropout. If we are dropping out 20% of the neurons, what are the criteria for dropping them?
