All of this is in the Renshaw manual as well, but it is nice to have in in a template.
babe wake up, a new haas automation tut just dropped
Its about time
How can i install this without a HAAS technician call out fee?😂
Call your local HAAS HFO and they should be able to email you the file as long as you have the WIPS option purchased for your machine
In before someone says you can't measure a part with the machine that cut it. Because you can.
I've been writing my own little macros to do this for a while. I wasn't smart enough to have the macros do the math but I was able to get the numbers needed from G154 p1, 2, 3 etc and then do it with my calculator on my phone real quick. I found in machine measuring to be pretty good as long as some dumbass hasn't crashed the probe and failed to dial it in and calibrate it.
@dannymaiorani519 Yup. Really saves my butt when my operators aren't paying attention to tight bores.
I use my eyecrometer and its more accurate. Probe cant see the drawing, but eye can!
You can measure it, but you can't rely on its accuracy as it's only as accurate as its calibration and the machine's movements.
@theofficialczex1708 So is the CMM.
Superb
Pls make on HMC machine videos
Calculating G68 angle from two bore centers is a template I still really miss.
Any chance of getting an online code generator for this?
There is one. Renishaw Probe Logic App.
Where do I download the templates
Good luck getting a reply, they rarely do!
I'm sure you need to update your software prob.
You call the HFO with your credit card and they will make it happen.
My HFO had a guy come out to install it, round trip $$$ and his 1 hr $$$ and the whole upgrade cost me $600 sucks!!!
@@meddlingwithmetal7153 The HFO that runs the mid atlantic region will not touch anything unless it is broken. Unless you have a classic control mill which they will update to the final M18.29B software release if your machine supports doing it.
Several of the features on the newer NGC software releases like the max speed setting for certain tools (save the renishaw from getting spun up to 10k rpm), The broaching templates and now these built in inspection cycles would be awesome to have. Half the time when I ask about them, the HFO service dept does not know about them, does not know if they would be supported with an older NGC or anything...
Our UMC-750 we got last year I can actually say I like the tool and work offsets tabs. Still not a classic control layout but so much nicer than the work and tool offset tabs on our other two NGC mills. When I asked the service dept about doing a complete erase and reset on our buggiest machine. They come right back to their defense that they have no idea or guarantee that it would work. That Haas mothership in Oxnard provides no support or details about what each software revision would do or not do. Because many customers have been unhappy to find more nanny features have been slipped into the newer software revisions.
That probe is only as accurate as the calibration! So use caution when calibrating your probes. I would also check calibration every couple of weeks. It is easy to do and only takes a few minutes.
Yeah I would say just as a default if I start getting weird things I dial in the probe with a indicator to the .0001 and run the calibration for the ots and probe.
Man, I wish work had NextGen Controllers 😅
This is all done within fusion already
Not everyone uses fusion some of use are stuck with other cam software's that don't support it.
