Nice note about the D-max and the cup holders. It does seem the more practical of the two. However, considering dealer support and offers (warranty, dealer network, current availability of models and drive-away offers) which would you guys go for: the d-max or the bt-50?

Traction control turns off when you engage the rear locker, so front wheels are completely 'open'. On a Ranger, traction control still works on the front wheels when the locker is engaged, and is quite good at controlling wheelspin and torque. It's one big reason why the Ranger is a better standard off-roader. -Sam

I wouldn’t expect the current Mazda design language to work on a pickup, but damn I like it. Wish the US got one.
i honestly think mazda could release a somewhat classy cheap pickup like this in the US and sell a decent amount of them

Does the bt50 feel nice inside? Certainly looks a little nicer than dmax on video. Id be buying 3rd party rubber mats anyway with messy kids
