Since it’s been brought up in the comments a lot I want to clarify the character choices at the end were not random!! I ran out of Nightcord footage to use so I decided to use footage of characters who were closely linked to Nightcord instead for the final part of the MV, so I chose Honami, Emu, Rui, Akito, etc. Maybe if they release another animated MV this year I can remake this to be fully Nightcord. Anyways, thanks for all the love on this 👍

Disclaimer: I haven't been updated with Sekai in a while
Akito: Ena's little brother (obviously). Iirc, he appeared in Ena's first event, "Unsatisfied Pale Color", Niigo's Main story and Natsumatsuri
Akito in Niigo's Main Story: He was telling Ena to keep quiet because he heard her yell at her father (I think)
Akito in Unsatisfied Pale Color: He heard Ena and went to check what was going on in her room and saw Ena throwing away her art supplies because she wanted to give up. Akito got worried.
Akito in Natsumatsuri: This event focuses on the Shinonomes. Also, there's a parallel wherein Akito got Ena's shoes when they were young and Ena got Akito's shoes when he was going to perform with Toya. If it weren't for Ena, Akito wouldn't be able to pursue street music and meet Toya

Emu: Appeared in the Miyajo Sports Festival and was paired with Mafuyu for a three-legged race. Emu fears Mafuyu because of how her smile didn't seem genuine at first. Since then, she tries to make Mafuyu smile genuinely

Honami: She's Kanade's housekeeper. Idk if this is true but she is the one who found Kanade when she passed out from hunger because she tried to starve herself because of what happened during the Prologue of Niigo's main story. She also appeared in a mixed unit event with Emu and Ena wherein they teach preschoolers how to draw

Rui: Appeared in Kamikou Fes, Waku Waku Picnic, (there's more but I forgot)
Is Mizuki's friend before they reached High School. They met on the rooftop when they first met. They're both outcasts because of how Mizuki dresses and Rui's eccentric ideas. Mizuki also made Rui and Nene's unit outfits.

Airi: She's Ena's friend. Told Akito to look after Ena. All I remember is she appeared in Waku Waku Picnic and Natsumatri

How I imagine the anime:
Each season spans one year (so basically to the anniversary) with the anniversary song as the op.
The first season is the main stories of each unit, with Gunjo sanka as the opening.
The second season is the event stories, with each event being 1-2 eps long. (Journey would be the op for this season).
The third season and on would follow this pattern.
I think the Ed should be whatever commissioned song was most recent. Kinda like a chainsaw man but it wouldn’t be a new ending every ep, just every few eps.

I'm very late but no one will stop me for saying that Nj25 is my favourite group of all time. It was the first group i chose when i started the game, i didn't expect so much emotion i experienced reading main stories. All charecters are realistic and very relatable (me with Ena mostly), both dealing with mental issues and traumas. Nj25 will always held a special place in my heart❤️💜🤎💖
