That's the point; they've tried different monetization AND cost cutting (slimming marketing budget for instance; where are all the trailers sfto that we used to get?); it hasn't worked. This is the CEO and the CFO saying (to the investors) the game needs systemic/fundamental changes, and that means were not going to see the profitability we're used to/been chasing; this sounds like they're managing investor expectations so they don't freak when EA invests more money in the game, yet profits don't start looking as healthy for 18 months

The reason apex is failing is because It’s only now that EA is only now “going as far as to say so and so” when these things have been issues neglected for years. Apex has so much potential as one of many in the genre but money grabbing greed being a prominent goal for EA instead of trying to push Apex to the top is what has lead to the game being in the state it is now.
EA doesn't realize that the more they put into the game the more they get out, and instead they are putting less in to save cost. It feels like they have an indi team working on a AAA game.

@@unforgivenkd gold and plat players thinking they run into cheaters is so funny to me because it's clearly just them not acknowledging someone is better than them.
100% agree with this. - Duos, Solo Only Trios, Quads. If someone feels the need to 3 stack, play ranked. Personally I think SBMM should take K/D ratios as a major factor. It's the one thing you can't fake for long and it'll almost eliminate smurf accounts. (Maybe not take the overall K/D, but use something like the last 6 months or 2-3 seasons played)
It's very interesting to see all this as a new player. I heard of Apex years ago but gave it no thought whatsoever. However, a colleague at my new job wanted me to try it, and I'm hooked. Started playing a couple of months ago, and I'm really enjoying it, haven't had this much fun gaming in years. Yeah it has its flaws(servers, cheaters, matchmaking, etc), but it's still fun and engaging as a new player. I really hope EA can lift this game up to shine as much as its potential, and it would be a total bummer for me if it gets shut down when I finally got into it.
My first 500 hours in this game was awesome too. But now I'm nearing 2.5k hours and this game has worn me down to the point where I'm thinking about leaving. Idk if this problem can be fixed. It's just gaming fatigue.
500 plus days on the game and it never got old to me. Devs def screwed the game up. Sucks you missed the prime OG apex but I heard through the grapevine they are bringing back the OG season 1 for an event.
I love apex, and no matter what happens I will continue to play until another game actually delivers something better. I wish more people chose to be positive and just enjoy the game when they want to instead of being miserable and not taking breaks
Nailed it the game is not perfect I’m a rank grinder when I’m playing apex fun is not my priority I’m a competitive guy so being good amd fighting equally or better player is what I like I’m always in Diamond if I get killed by a pred I don’t be mad I tried to get better Back in the day I use to be an average gold player at best you can progress in this game it just take grind hard work and sacrifice
Apex needs to be rebuilt on a new engine. End of story, the lack of sound also mixed with poor servers are the biggest detractors from a good Apex experience.
I've been complaining about the fact that a whole team will walk up behind me and I won't have a zero cue or sound I thought they were gonna put audio queues in the game at some point for people that struggle with bad hearing.
They need to look at revamping seasons like Fortnite did when they introduced Chapters; marketed/presented properly it could serve as the rebrand that kicks off a "new" or increased Apex content development/release tempo (drawing players back and increasing new/casual player counts)
It's so weird to have that feeling once you stop. As a day 1 player, I loved this game for so long but now I'm out it's almost a visceral dislike I feel for it (even though I still watch the odd video like this). It stopped being fun years ago and it genuinely feels like leaving an abusive relationship to finally have let go.
Yah imma bet that this was them being forced to admit it’s failing and trying to do damage control by telling the community what they want to hear. They won’t do anything at all
I think Apex is close to beyond saving mostly due to the player base and the core design. This game is basically impossible to approach or play casually. The game has an impossibly high skill ceiling and enough time has passed that “sweats” have attained enough knowledge/experience to stomp out anyone who isn’t playing at a competitive level and the battle royal format puts enough people in a match your bound to have at least one highly experienced team. I think the only thing that could turn things around is a “flip the script” balance update that tosses everything out of whack enough for less experienced players to be climbing a hill instead of a mountain. While better support would obviously help, I think it’s band-aids on bullet holes at this point.
Yeah you nailed it. I used to play in a premade 3 stack with some family members. We stopped playing for a few months cause life happens. We tried to play just the other day and it was just miserable. Absolutely beaten down immediately by any team we ran into. I was dying so fast I wasn't even sure what happened half the time. Played like 4 games then gave up. We just wanted to play casually while joking around but there's no room for that kind of player anymore.
@@puffyips not true. Don't have to win but shouldn't feel like we're that overwhelmed. Sorry I have a life. I'm not grinding to improve at a video game. No one cares about irl
Exactly this, and I've been saying it for years only to get cries of "get gud" throne back at me. Once the devs couldn't remove tap strafing and super gliding, the downfall had begun. Add in badly thought out changes to balance (Evo/red shields, easier respawning, maps with more vertical and building spaces, aim assist) and of course no solos mode to at least counter the poor team matchmaking and it has been a terrible experience for casuals for years.
Improvements to matchmaking and a focus on more fun focused LTMs could help (like whacky modes). The competitive nature of the game is something they should absolutely embrace, but they can't just depend on those players because that's only like 10% (if that) of any large F2P game. Personally don't even play the game much these days. Only content I consume for Apex is anything in the comp scene (ALGS and currently BLGS) because the strategy involved is really entertaining to watch for me.
1. remove cheaters 2. remove smurfers 3. make the games fair, i.e. stop matching up poor players with good players. playing is fun. being killed by someone unfairly is not.
@@rafotasstyle6105 there already is smurf Q. I haven't played ranked in a few seasons. Died to a low level aimbotter in my first game, rookie-gold I was against mostly master badge, 4k 20, diamond players, and obvious low level smurfs and cheaters. Everyone was low RANK, but no one is low SKILL. Bronze/silver lobbies should be free to cruise through and I ran into a recent pred (who was a current silver). If you haven't experienced it you aren't in it but there is indeed hidden mmr for ranked.
This week I played for the first time in 6 months. Solo queue, Rookie 4 in ranked. Apex teamed me with new players and we were put in lobbies against Diamond and Masters 3 stacks. In ranked. As a Rookie!?!? Ridiculous
3 stack masters season 17 that are still bronze silver or gold ? or 3 stack +15k masters ? if it's that then could you please update this information with a video proof ?
I strongly agree with the idea of making a forge mode. There is an entire group developing R5 this would be an amazing opportunity to onboard those people. R5 has 1v1 servers, custom games, and an editor tool to make movement maps. Besides 1v1s there are even custom modes like duck hunt. it really reminded me of classic halo.
forge could ABSOLUTELY save the game. It has with lots of other old titles. allow surf maps, custom casual gamemodes like fortnite and let creators go crazy.
If this game died i wouldn't play anything i haven't been into and played a game as much since bo2 when my 1st daughter was born well just before she was lol they need to change it over to unreal engine and add more maps on more rotation something like cod warzone and bring back areans
Learning the game back in season 3 and looking up to innovative players like aceu (with his movement guide) was honestly the most fun part. Apex Legends needs to be updated in EVERY ASPECT. New base movement mechanics, new gun rotations that shift the meta daily, new character picking/ban system to shake up the meta. A single player story based campaign taking us into missions with each character earning unique rewards for completion. Where are the eastereggs? Where do we look to see that the developers care about the game?
The skins arent problem The problem are the cheaters and bad match making talking from my expirience Im LVL 370 sometimes I have teamates that are litteraly new to the game we got killed by 3 stack masters team They made really terible decision people quit Apex than EA rise the prices of skins that makes more pople quit and it than repeatz
Better servers (higher tick rate), fix matchmaking. Player count will increase. Lower the price of packs and heirlooms and revenue will increase. Start putting suspected cheaters in their own lobbies.
It blows my mind we don't have arena style gametypes, like capture the flag, domination, tdm, ffa deathmatch and other modes. Hell, you can even make assault modes, conquest with added titans or without. There is endless and endless possibilities for game modes, but they are stuck doing the same old stuff. Don't even get me started on not having new grenades since release.
With EA in charge, I wouldn't even want them to make an Apex 2. We've seen how little effort/resources they invest into the one that's brought in billions. Does anyone really think they'd actually do things right?
systemic changes better be a comprehensive social menu, customs games builder/browser, and map queue selection. just let players find their friends and new players easier and let them play the game how they want
When the game first came out it was new exciting refreshing. Inevitably as time goes on, only the sweats stay so every match is as expected. Filled with hardcore players. For most people who want to enjoy some gaming after a long day of work, they will pick a different game now. Not go against players who play 10-20 hours a day.
I haven't touched Apex in nearly 2 years and don't intend to go back anytime soon. I am glad to hear that EA, at least publicly, is seeming to want to treat Apex well rather than just trying to give the whales and die hards one last squeeze.
naw this wount work they allready tried it in like season 18 or so when they separated the plebs and the tryhards what they ended up with was the plebs complaining and the try hards complaining and quiting. The new players dont stay once they hit the "Skill pot wall" cause it will feel like they hit a brick wall and only way to get over that bump is to play more hours and most newbies are not willing to do that. So in short keeping the plebs with some good players means yes they will not win as many matches but they start to gain expirience going against higher skilled players and thats what will keep em going just like old school shooters sprinkel in a bunch of people you can deal with and then a few who are tougher nuts to crack.
The way they sprinkle content to make you feel like they've thrown you a bone is what I don't like. The new season is so dry after 2 days bc is so bare bone. They need big season drops, not a gun every 4 seasons.. how bout vaulting more guns to introduce new ones. They want longevity but playing a new season of barely anything new is dull
This would literally make the game worst lol, no Evo shields, no perks, everyone has 2 stacked nades, to much shotgun ammo making it more meta then it should. Literally would not help the game
I started to play Apex day one but I didn’t really start to play a lot of of it and start to make it my main game until season five the Lore really got to me and it made me stick with the game now the lore is basically all over the place and we barely get anything nowadays my biggest thing with Apex as a game it’s that it has so much potential but it’s like they don’t try and when you don’t try it makes it hard to believe that it’s a genuine game. I can sit here in my chair for 30 minutes and come up with tons of idea ideas game modes things to do things to grind for sometimes I’m in the Apex lobby and I’m sitting there and I’m wondering why am I playing this game? There’s literally nothing to grind for in this game. Nothing feels rewarding and I’m not talking about ranked. I’m just talking about in general. There’s been countless times where I said they could easily add a level of system for legends or something and give us little rewards for playing our favorite character
EA is the problem with many franchises but there's not much we can actually do if they're adamant on driving a game into the ground. They're set on money money money and not keeping fans happy which could actually make them more money 😮
Playing ranked and I’m hard stuck gold getting curb stomped by 3 stack masters and preds constantly. If I play ltm or pubs I get mobbed by 3 stack preds and masters constantly. Theres not a single game that I have had fun in out of the last 200. The algorithm is broken
Creative mode is what killed fortnite for me. The player base got so spread out that they had to add bots to all modes. You'll face 20 people and 80 bots in a lobby. It's EXTREMELY BORING. I play competitive games to face real human beings not AI. A creative mode in apex would kill the core game
apex being "in its teens" is scary because r6 siege went through those same teenage years, except this teen dropped out of high school and gave up on life. Hopefully Apex was raised better
I think br is just very training to play, they need something like overwatch were you have one queue for comp and its just 5 random game modes like king of the hill, escort, hybrid or something like capture the flag, idk just an idea because the current mix is very casual which is fine but lets not pretend arenas is the best no br comp mode we could get
Hearing a CEO say "large systematic change" to a game that's fundamentally great makes me grimace. There's no telling what he's thinking when he says that, but I'm pretty sure it's not the kind of change we'll want to see. What the Apex community really needs is another studio to make a game with great mechanics like Apex.
They absolutely need to cater to the casual player and try and retain the mid level regulars. I believe the best way to acheive this is to 1. Add bots / AI into casual lobbies like fortnite does. 2. phone number verification to get rid of smurfs. 3. merge server regions to boost player count in ranked so they can actually allocate lobbies appropriately. in OCE ranked it literally just puts everyone in the same lobby. as soon as 60 people queue, a game starts. There is no MATCHMAKING, only team composition for solo queue which as we all know is terrible.
content creators have really sucked the fun element out of gaming. shenanigans and messing around just isnt possible when everyone else is grinding for one reason or another. simply havibng fun now requires a large time commitment just to be good enough to enjoy the game. its not just apex most games are having the same complaints about sweats and match making. Weve now got the ttvs, yt, ttokers kill grinding, stacking, for 4-8 hours a day (the lengths some go for accolade is borderline sad). theres moremoney in gaming now and its resulted in cheaters and sweats. its a huge barrier for new entrants to the game. And when these creators arent making as much or see their game in decline they quickly verbalize their discontent and it drags the overall opinion of the game down further and player counts follow.
I think something people dont acknowledge is that the community was more proactive towards the initial gamepass change than the core issues with this game. EA knows they can keep milking it because they know the community doesn't do anything about it.
I think you hit the nail in the head when you said one of the biggest problems is that the only people that are left playing the game are sweats. I've been playing the game since day one. It was the first FPS game I've ever played and it's still my favorite game to this day. I work a 9:00 to 5 job and I'm a dad so my time to play is limited. So when I do get a chance to relax and enjoy my favorite game I load up and I get matched into games with predators and Masters. I grinded this past week to make my way from rookie up to Platinum and as soon as I got into Platinum lobbies it was nothing but predator dive trails the entire game. This game has run out of casual players and is infested with godlike players that just mow over everyone they come across. That's the big problem for the game in my eyes. We need to do something to attract the casual players back into the game or at minimum we need to fix the matchmaking so that players like me are not getting matched up with people who have made bread the last 10 seasons.
I would love to see an Apex 2 that has a single player campaign set in the Titanfall world, part of which is getting thrown into the Apex games as punishment. And then it has the full Apex BR. They add a paintball and a melee/tag style game modes. It'd also be fun to see some kind of race mode with wall running. They create sick skins that don't cost $18.00 - and they allow us to all port our libraries over of existing skins, cosmetics, banners, etc. - just like CS:GO to CS2. They can even just call it Apex Legends: Legends instead of 2. This franchise could be great.
Monetization with ADs could be more effective against free to play players for one. Reducing the amount of nonsense to players like neo strafing and standardizing movements like wall jump can help. Keeping ranked for sweats while having an enjoyable experience for everyone in other modes by reducing the designed difficulty, e.g. match making
Im a season zero player the primary reason i deleted is the monetization. The audacity to make us pay twice for a battle pass is disgusting. Also, over the last 3 years (since the last og devs left) the player base has shrunk across the board by 75% overall the game is dying.
As a day 1 player it’s so funny how I’ve been saying this since I left in 2021 and they are just now “doing something about it”. I say that in quotations because if you know EA, you know they aren’t gonna do jack because they do nothing but lie. And if they DO, they are going to do it in the worst, greediest, most disrespectful way possible. I refuse to play anything associated with EA. They treat their fans and their games like absolute garbage and have made Respawn a shell of what it used to be. It’s embarrassing and they should be ashamed.
If they want to sell cosmetics they need to add a 3rd person option. Selling skins in a first person game will always have a more limited appeal when compared to Fortnite.
The game needs an engine update at the very least, because aside from it showing its age, it would unlock more possibilities in making it a better experience. The 2 in Overwatch doesn't mean much anymore but the game benefitted from it's update, Apex can do that too.
Yeah, I was thinking the same about a code refresh, (if done right), would be amassive benefit to the game and also likely allow for plugging up holes that cheaters often exploit.
They lost me when not only did they make the buster sword $200 but also limited time so you can’t even get heirloom shards and get it later. They went too far. Maybe some big changes will bring me back. I’ve played a couple matches since just to play some games with my brother but I wouldn’t consider myself back to playing. It’s just an outlet to play with my brother and nothing more.
More community engagement! I agree with your point on user driven tools, I mean community members developed r5 because there wasn't a legitimate avenue to do that kind of stuff, imagine what they could do with proper infrastructure. Community servers, replay systems/theater modes for content creators (of all sorts), modding ability on private servers etc... yes it involves giving up some agency in the direction that the game goes, but the only games that persist through time are the ones that have these features. It gives more reason to keep playing other than competitive, a dev team can't compete with the hundreds of thousands of players generating content for a game, just in scale alone. Similarly, people have asked for a replay system for montage editing for 5 years now, even one that just records locally no server bloat necessary, it lowers the bar for content creation and opens up all kinds of different creative ways to interact with the franchise. More content is more engagement by viewers, it keeps Apex relevant in online discourse and also is free advertising outreach to new players/generations. Some of this stuff might result in a large refresh of the game, I think that's fine. My only concern with a potential Apex 2 is that I think a lot of players wont switch over cleanly unless its done like cs2 (not the cleanly but the continuity part) and accounts/purchases transfer over. If its not just an update to the original it risks fracturing an already shrinking player-base with too much investment in the original. Idk, whatever they decide I think they can make it work, honestly after launch Apex was turbulent too, but after a solid content surplus in season 2-3 a lot of players returned. I have hope, the core gunplay and movement in this game scratches an itch that nothing else in the market does at a competitive scale right now. Anyways tldr, community servers, replay systems
I am actually all for supporting Apex Legends 2 development, because Apex Legends 1 is currently built on top of a heavily modified version of the Source engine; initially impressive, but now it's restrictive and outdated. If they built Apex Legends 2 on top of a more modern engine, such as UE5, then that would open up a WHOLE lot more options for the developers to create new, innovative features; hopefully just like the ones TGM mentioned.
well i mean its been 6 years. they need to just make 2 and update the guns, graphics, maps, music, everything. itll have to feel mostly new but also nostalgic in minor ways. a campaign mode would be dope. but a new one each season
Lets completely lose the trust of the playerbase and tell them we are going to milk you against your will to play our unstable game. This action will cause significant increase in revenue. EA surprised it backfired will never fail to amaze me.
It's not that we want an apex 2 we want apex to make a transitional almost lore based and episodic Scene into Titan fall 3 DO WHAT NONE of the other gaming industry's are doing.
This is not talked about but I think a big reason this season fell short is map selection. It used to be a new map was basically their version of a new cod or whatever. When it comes out you are playing a completely different game, it feels different, fresh, it's hype. But when they change the map rotation in ranked every day, all of a sudden you're not playing the sleek cool new map, you're playing the same stale maps you are tired of and were so hyped for the new map to be rid of. EVERYONE was bummed when the ED first day ended and they had to play old maps instead. The optics of it made it feel like the same old game and not much was updated. For a new map they need extended periods of having it be the main map especially when it is actually a good map like ED, it didn't feel the same of when old new maps had came out.
E-district was the least fun map I've ever played. Forcing me to play it for a week was the reason I finally uninstalled Apex. You definitely don't speak for "EVERYONE"
After playing a few rounds yesterday, I switched over to Shaq Fu. No joke. The game is no fun at all anymore because you only play against Preds. You don't stand a chance anymore. And I'm playing since Season 5
I don't know what it is like in other regions but in EU cheating is the number one problem. Every single game is riddled with cheaters, every match is won by a cheating team, it is beyond ridiculous. Why would you put any money into a game that is riddled with cheaters. Respawn seem unable or unwilling to do anything about that and as such the game is dead
all ea has to do is just resolve the matchmaking system with hackers and reduce the amount of overpriced bundles including better rewards for the players that can't grind as much compared to sweats.
I actually don't like Mixtape because you take away the player's ability to choose. Most of the time I want to play Control and I can only play one match, then my choices are to either wait another 10mins for the mixtape to go around or play something else.
Remove predictive recoil, make it randomly pick a pattern from within a few dozen possible patterns. Keep the pattern on the gun throughout the game. This will render Cronus useless while still letting people get a feel for the weapon
Gaming Merch always speaking facts. Apex needs a fresh start, certainly not Apex 2 but my Titanfall 3 or something entirely different. Battle Royale seasons are totally played out at this point ever since Fortnite started it the trend
I came back to the game yesterday after a couple months break and the HP bar above the character that appeared when I shot them gave me a jump scare ngl
I really hope we get something like the rev and loba minigames again. It was so cringe and fun at the same time :) This was really some great ingame lore appreciation.
Season 0 player. 28 year old, paying tons of real life bills. They should’ve monetized the battle pass. Simple. It’s $10-20 freaking dollars every couple months or so. If you can’t buy the dozens of skins for $10, guess what? Your core gameplay is completely unaffected.. I can’t fathom how people want the game to push forward but complain about $10-20
In my personal opinion the reason I feel they need to fix is the time to kill, it's way too fast. I left the game for a season or 2 and when I came back it felt like the time to kill got much faster, so bad to the point where you turn a corner and you're dead before you even know what happened. And that for me is so incredibly unfun when you're hopping in a game to die within 3 seconds to just go back to the lobby. I probably won't come back until the time to kill slows down or unless a friend somehow ropes me into it.
What? Time to kill isn’t as fast as others and that’s what armor is for lol, that’s why you get heals and your characters have ability’s to help with that kind of stuff (bang smokes, mirage alt, path grapple, rev jump, octane stim, gibby bubble, new castle shield, etc etc…
I actually kind of disagree with TGM on having mixtape being a mode that has not progression. I personally believe progression is lacking so much in this game. Mixtape especially. Weapon mastery is terrible and does not feel rewarding or grindable. I think new players just want something to do whilst playing the game. I also think slapping a 2 on the end of apex legends is a bad idea as so many games have done this and have proven it is just a marketing strategy
They need proper servers that arent 20 ticks, quicker map, weapon and character releases thats the core way to keep the game fresh and interesting. THE LTMs and mixtape are just warm ups for me and really dont mean much.

It's very interesting to see all this as a new player. I heard of Apex years ago but gave it no thought whatsoever. However, a colleague at my new job wanted me to try it, and I'm hooked. Back in the day I use to be an average gold player at best you can progress in this game it just take grind hard work and sacrifice
it would be better if matchmaking was actually competent.
Been complaining the same issues but my experience doesn't matter anyway according to alot of morons in this playerbase
imagine getting billions profit and not investing anything into the server technology for a game that so many people wanted to play
They need to look at revamping seasons like Fortnite did when they introduced Chapters; marketed/presented properly it could serve as the rebrand that kicks off a "new" or increased Apex content development/release tempo (drawing players back and increasing new/casual player counts)
this is the same thing they keep saying over and over but look where we are
haven't played apex in 7 months now and honestly nothing could make me go back.
For me, the moment the finals released, I was out for good.
Me too, and my quality of life improved.
So you came to Apex videos just to say this? Pathetic.
@@rstorm7568lmao that game is so trash though
@@EnriqueMaxxyeah you gotta be good to have fun in online shooters
1. remove cheaters
2. remove smurfers
3. make the games fair, i.e. stop matching up poor players with good players.
playing is fun. being killed by someone unfairly is not.
4. Add Split Screen support.
Remove Cronus...
Remove stuffs no, but Merge smurfs in a smurf serve/match
Ridiculous
Wait...how?? ranked should match you wih people from the same rank or 1 rank above if ti can't find them that quick, this ain't like the past seasons.
@@triplekxi_tk6047So you would just sit in queue waiting hours for 58 other rookies to log on.....
I've heard of r5 but never tried it
forge could ABSOLUTELY save the game. It has with lots of other old titles. allow surf maps, custom casual gamemodes like fortnite and let creators go crazy.

So sad, been playing since the golden era of Titanfall 2 and to see Respawn collapsing underneath its own greed is downright miserable.
Where do we look to see that the developers care about the game?
if they want my money, they're gonna have to make BETTER skins
where are the badass sci-fi trooper skins?!
Better game > better skins imo
The skins arent problem The problem are the cheaters and bad match making talking from my expirience Im LVL 370 sometimes I have teamates that are litteraly new to the game we got killed by 3 stack masters team
They made really terible decision people quit Apex than EA rise the prices of skins that makes more pople quit and it than repeatz
I just don't feel like Apex is the game I want to play after working 9-5
If Covid never happened it wouldn’t be as sweaty I promise. That time alone is when I racked up all my stats
I haven't touched Apex in nearly 2 years and don't intend to go back anytime soon. I am glad to hear that EA, at least publicly, is seeming to want to treat Apex well rather than just trying to give the whales and die hards one last squeeze.
I don't think I'm alone in being burnt out on live service games in general. I just want my games to have an end at this point.
Same thats why i bought titanfall 2 for the campaign
I think making matchmaking not so brutal, would go a long way for newer/not good players.
naw this wount work they allready tried it in like season 18 or so when they separated the plebs and the tryhards what they ended up with was the plebs complaining and the try hards complaining and quiting.
All they need to do ban the cheats
They should just put some damn TF2 movement into the LTM modes. BAM easy.
Tbh areana should come back it was a fun game mode
My friend and I were playing the Halloween event and those lobbies were just sweaty. It was supposed to be fun, but it was no fun.
I don't know how they're gonna make the game fresh at this point
new servers
They should do what Fortnite did and make it OG again
Idk if that would help. It would be nice to use the creative modes that Fortnite has. Would be cool to play on maps that other people make.
what? you mean like 7 legends, 3 maps and a few, busted, guns?
@ no, Fortnite lets people make custom maps, like mini games. It would be nice to see that
This would literally make the game worst lol, no Evo shields, no perks, everyone has 2 stacked nades, to much shotgun ammo making it more meta then it should. Literally would not help the game
Rumors are there going too
Add a Titan Mixtape mode where the characters are the pilots. Have Titan Control and Titan TDM and that will help bring back casuals.
Legends saturation. they need to condense by blending characters. Conduit/bangalore/octance
It’s funny being called sweaty when I’m usually only able to hit gold with less than a 0.5 KDR
When will devs realize that SBMM and shitty monetization ruin games?
fix the game and add a fun contents or good features ❌
blame players for not buy shitty things that they're released ✅
Player leverage is UP right now from this
Raise your standards
EA is the problem with many franchises but there's not much we can actually do if they're adamant on driving a game into the ground. They're set on money money money and not keeping fans happy which could actually make them more money 😮
Playing ranked and I’m hard stuck gold getting curb stomped by 3 stack masters and preds constantly. If I play ltm or pubs I get mobbed by 3 stack preds and masters constantly. Theres not a single game that I have had fun in out of the last 200. The algorithm is broken
People like you make my lobbies fun bro we appreciate you so much fr, thanks for still playing 🙏
All they had to do was give us Third Person Mode… bringing it back wouldve been different enough and not difficult to implement
Facts I wouldn’t mind seeing the skins I’ve paid for when I play… might encourage me to buy more skins tbh
Before playing ranked today P1 500-ish RP, after P1 200-ish RP. My will to play ranked is hanging on for dear life.
I love apex. The art style. The characters. The lore. Biggest thing for me is matchmaking. A parent who works full time cant keep up.
If they built Apex Legends 2 on top of a more modern engine, such as UE5, then that would open up a WHOLE lot more options for the developers to create new, innovative features; hopefully just like the ones TGM mentioned.
well i mean its been 6 years. they need to just make 2 and update the guns, graphics, maps, music, everything. itll have to feel mostly new but also nostalgic in minor ways. a campaign mode would be dope. but a new one each season
all the games that stand the test of time have come from custom servers (dota, counter strike, tower defense even)
Lets completely lose the trust of the playerbase and tell them we are going to milk you against your will to play our unstable game. This action will cause significant increase in revenue. EA surprised it backfired will never fail to amaze me.
It's not that we want an apex 2 we want apex to make a transitional almost lore based and episodic Scene into Titan fall 3 DO WHAT NONE of the other gaming industry's are doing.
You know it's bad when they invite and stalk you very robotics swag
The casual players are on console, PC players are pure sweats and don't even play with their teammates. Not the same experience on console.
Are you a shareholder of EA as well? I was at the live webcast conference call lol
I’m gonna quit all together if I lose all my heirlooms.
I don't have any of these problems in black ops 6. Lol, infinitely more to go for than a fake badge AND no microtransaction! EA is clueless.
I’m never supporting this company again. What a bunch of jerks
Having poured 1000 hours into this game, I feel like I've exhausted its magic. It's not that I've grown to hate it, it's just lost its appeal to me:)
Y does it take a huge disappointment or dip in numbers for them to act if they just actively made the game better this game would been so much better
I just finished Titanfall 2 for the first time. It makes me sad that at this rate we're not gonna get a sequel most likely
Biggest Problems:
1. Cheaters
2. Battlepass
3. Shop shop shop shop shop
I actually don't like Mixtape because you take away the player's ability to choose. Most of the time I want to play Control and I can only play one match, then my choices are to either wait another 10mins for the mixtape to go around or play something else.
A forge mode would be awesome. I’d like to see some pathfinder obstacle courses
They should do a throwback season where the lineup of maps are all the original forms of them
So do what fortnite did
Remove predictive recoil, make it randomly pick a pattern from within a few dozen possible patterns.
Remove SBMM from Apex pubs and crack down on all the hackers.
Why is it always about money, their game is dying but money is the problem, not player retention…
They need proper servers that arent 20 ticks, quicker map, weapon and character releases thats the core way to keep the game fresh and interesting. THE LTMs and mixtape are just warm ups for me and really dont mean much.
