The one time he got it though it had chicken nuggets to heat up, milk, juice, ketchup, orange, bag of chips and the breakfast was a pop tart, craisins, yogurt and juice/milk.
I work in a school nutrition department in Iowa. Our grab and go lunches are a little different and available for any child 1-18 without restrictions. All that’s required of the parents is the name and school of one child they are getting food for regardless of how many lunches they ask for. Parents can also come from surrounding communities, their children don’t have to be from our district. I really enjoyed watching your video .
I work in California. In the beginning of the pandemic we were just giving meals to kids under 18. We now give them as many lunches as they need. No questions asked. I know the regulars now and he ones that are in need, I usually give them a few extra lunches especially on Fridays ( we don’t serve on weekends)

I’m sure most people know this but just in case...all that extra bread and lunch meat can be frozen and will keep very well! Whenever we catch a good sale we always stock up. The lunch meat should thaw in the fridge and the bread can thaw on the counter. Hope this helps someone’s
Here in Pasco county they give SOOOOO much food. I had to stop going because it was adding up faster than my kids could eat it. They gave 5 of each milk, 10 juices, 5 hot lunches (frozen), usually including a pepperoni and a cheese pizza, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, fish sticks and pasta. They also gave 5 breakfasts, usually consisting of. 2 cereals, waffles, pancakes and a breakfast bar. Also, 5 yogurt drinks, 10 fruits, 5 packs of broccoli, 5 packs of carrots, 5 packs of tomatoes, 5 cheese sticks and other snacks. It was unreal. And that is all just for 1 kid per week. I have 5 kids so it just got to be too much. Not that I am not thankful because with them being home, it definitely was needed. Glad to see you utilizing the grab and go lunches!
Peach McIntyre it is such a nice thing for the schools to do that for the kids though. I’m out of work for the summer without pay now because I’m a school bus driver, so I will definitely be needing that each week to help supplement.

So nice! Some schools do that here too, they did breakfast but I guess people weren’t going that early so now they just do lunch then on fridays they give weekend bags which will be like a can of chili n beans Vienna sausage snack bars milk juice cereal! Your lucky, here in North Dakota the kids have to be present! We went a few tines as we forget about it also they don't eat it all so to me its a waste. Your stuff looks much better
In Pinellas had to show up everyday no questions asked but had to have both of my daughters with me, so if one was at a sleepover and only had one of them only got one breakfast and one lunch at a time (pre-made sandwiches) and had to show up everyday for it
I know this is an older video but to anyone in a district still offering meals please know that these are government funded programs. They schools are provided with the money and resources to provide food for every student in the district and more. Please do not feel bad about using these services even if you can afford not to. By participating in these programs you show the schools that there is enough demand to keep providing the meals. This benefits those who are relying on them. Please take advantage if you can.
Wow i worked at an elementary school when covid started, we never asked any questions, you would come to our door, tell us how many kids and we gave you food.. not one question asked.. they did the most for someone to come pick up food
We did have a pickup thing, but now that they have summer programs in session, I just go to the school, about 1/2 a mile away. We can only get a day's worth at a time, but I don't have to bring the kids. The lady in charge gave me her card and wrote my name and how many kids with her initials in case I go to one of the other schools. We usually get milk and cereal for breakfast, but sometimes we get a hot item, like some packaged pancakes or a pastry. Then we get a sack for lunch, which is usually a pb& j crustables or a ham sandwich with fruit, some chips, and something for dessert with another milk. So with 2 kids, we get 4 half-pints of milk per day.
you could make hot turkey open-faced sandwiches with some mashed potatoes or stuffing and turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. That is what I always do when i have turkey lunch meat that is not eaten fast enough.
What your state is giving out makes since. In Georgia where I reside they are giving out one meal per day by bus or parent pick up. I worked as a school lunch lady and I always seen how much food is waisted everyday. It is sad. So now I see that food isn't going to waist during this time. What your state is doing is great.
Whoever thought about the idea of giving free food during this pandemic has been a total blessing for the Families.Even though my only child is 20 years old, I am quite sure that It is quite hard to keep a well stocked refrigerator
In Georgia our children actually had to be in the car with us. They didn’t collect any information. I never went to collect because they never ate school lunch when school was in. 🤦🏽♀️
I'm in California and our kids lunches are the best. Every week its different we get the same you do but with the exception of lunch meat my kids get 5 different lunches they have gotten Tamales, Chile verde burritos, rice with teriyaki chicken, burger meat, chicken nuggets and tenders, corn dogs. Ect..all gourmet food. I'm like this is good food we've gone every week. In our city children must be present to get food. For the same reason you said people abused it the 1st week food ran out in minutes and it happened at almost all the schools. A lady got caught going to different school sites.
I work at a school. Most kids throw their food away. If we even take one of the bananas they don't want we can get fired. My Teacher I work with has a wife and him and a daughter. He makes over $80,000 a year and applied for the one time $400 food stamp program given to all parents with school age children. I was upse. This food is for people who need it not just because.

That’s awesome it all helps thankfully they have programs I’m in California and I’m spending like 900 a month on food 🥘
I only have 1 child so I am confused on the amount. So is that food meant to last 1 x per day, or is that food for the entire week? I always am grateful the elderly and the young are being taken care of w nutritional. food
1 WEEKS WORTH OF FOOD
@@PeachMcIntyre Oh yes, that's a great amount of food and nice variety !
Yeah I work in new Jersey public schools & they gv them breakfast & lunch during this pandemic everyday
THAT'S AWESOME THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT MADE THIS PROGRAM HAPPEN EVERYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES REGARDLESS OF INCOME.

Am glad to see this
This kind of thing never happen in my country
They do give away nothing
SORRY TO HEAR THAT. MANY PEOPLE HERE WHERE AFRAID TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT AT FIRST AND THEN I STARTED POSTING IT AND THEN STARTED RUNNING OUT OF FOOD.
My kids schools did this as well. I was still working. So my oldest would walk down to the school with bags and walk back with meals for a week for 3 kids.
My daughter and nephew went to Mango Elementary, my mom had a house in Seffner! They are 25&30 now( great memories)
🌻Hi Peaches
I am glad to see that the Govt and school initiative gets to those who need it. Really good programme Bless all the little kids 💖🌻
Thats amazing Peach! The US certainly looks after the children.x
This is common in area with a high percentage of kids who receive free lunch. Every summer the poorest schools will be the pickup locations
You and your kids are blessed!!!
THANK YOU. BLESSED BECAUSE WE AREN'T TOO PROUD TO ACCEPT THE BLESSINGS!!!
We also have a big family I've would of kept the bread it freezes very well I'll show you can make French toast and then freeze them the heat up in the microwave. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
OH WOW I DEFINITELY DIDNT THINK OF THAT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING
I love your videos! 😍 You can freeze your bread until you need it.
That is awesome that they help with the students meals, wish they did that when Mine went they ate crazy
NOT JUST STUDENTS. ANY CHILD BETWEEN THE AGES OF 0-18 AND ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS 21 AND UNDER AND IT’S EVERYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES REGARDLESS OF INCOME
@@PeachMcIntyre thanks Peach for the info. Your babies are precious.
Before I watch I must say beautiful teeth
THANK YOU DARLING 😘😘🥰
I think that everytime haha i think I watch your teeth more than anything!
In our county the school bus comes in our complex to pass out lunches! ❤❤❤
Hi, That was awesome! We have nothing like That here in Ontario Canada. Very nice. So parents don't have to worry so much!
Brenda Cowell Here in my part of BC you could go pick up meals if your kids were part of the school breakfast program.
@@traciedye9633 I work for the school board here in my town. Our breakfast program was done away with. We don't even have free muffins for the teens anymore
So glad you got good food for your babies
THANK YOU. I'M NOT TO PROUD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY BLESSINGS
I don't have any children but Last Summer they had school buses and different area of town that were passing out the lunches for the kids Monday through Friday they sent enough to last the weekend
This free lunch was blessings for my family of 10ppl and plus the cat enjoy his milk every day special treat.
Jellisa Hall I'm not a hater or a vet but, I watch Officer Paw Patrol, an animal control officer, who said cats are lactose intolerant and shouldn't drink milk. But you know your cat better than me! I just wanted to share that because I had no idea!
Stacey Slays Dragons I think they can have very small amounts I believe, idk haha. My vet likes me to give my cat probiotic yogurt which is still dairy but the probiotics help a ton with tummy aches.
Over here in Bridgeport Connecticut you just have to go to any school and grab them
That’s wonderful 👍👍❤️❤️
IT REALLY IS.
THANK YOU FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT MS. EMILY 😘😘🥰
So with 2 kids, we get 4 half-pints of milk per day.
sometimes I get there and the door is locked and NO ONE can get inside...
one meal per kid per day should be enough, only greedy people are coming in trying to double dip./
I just went thanks boo school right down the street I’ll be there everyday okurrr the way these kids eat 😫
YOU’RE WELCOME. ENJOY KEN 😘😘🥰
you could make hot turkey open-faced sandwiches with some mashed potatoes or stuffing and turkey gravy and cranberry sauce. That is what I always do when i have turkey lunch meat that is not eaten fast enough.
SOUNDS SO YUMMY. THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION
What your state is giving out makes since. In Georgia where I reside they are giving out one meal per day by bus or parent pick up. I worked as a school lunch lady and I always seen how much food is waisted everyday. It is sad. So now I see that food isn't going to waist during this time. What your state is doing is great.
That’s a blessing
They are doing you guys right in Florida 💋
You make the best videos, and may God continue to bless you
Whoever thought about the idea of giving free food during this pandemic has been a total blessing for the Families.Even though my only child is 20 years old, I am quite sure that It is quite hard to keep a well stocked refrigerator
In the UK the children got £15 per child per week.
That's so cool go hear how the U.K. is providing for the kids.
I remember those strawberry waffle cookies in school.. ddnt know they still serve them!!
My dad usually picks up for our kids, my nephew, and for all the parents near him that don't have transportation.
💜
God bless America!🇺🇸🙏🏼
In Georgia our children actually had to be in the car with us. They didn’t collect any information. I never went to collect because they never ate school lunch when school was in. 🤦🏽♀️
Wow this is so good in a mom to four kids I get £45 a week it’s a barcode scanner send to your email and I must admit it’s been a great help .
Is your kids school doing the grab-and-go meals for the summer also?
I'm in California and our kids lunches are the best. Every week its different we get the same you do but with the exception of lunch meat my kids get 5 different lunches they have gotten Tamales, Chile verde burritos, rice with teriyaki chicken, burger meat, chicken nuggets and tenders, corn dogs. Ect..all gourmet food. I'm like this is good food we've gone every week. In our city children must be present to get food. For the same reason you said people abused it the 1st week food ran out in minutes and it happened at almost all the schools. A lady got caught going to different school sites.
I love u girl....u r a great mama
I work at a school. Most kids throw their food away. If we even take one of the bananas they don't want we can get fired. My Teacher I work with has a wife and him and a daughter. He makes over $80,000 a year and applied for the one time $400 food stamp program given to all parents with school age children. I was upse. This food is for people who need it not just because.
I’m in Canada and our school has a breakfast and lunch program but they didn’t do this for our kids during covid! Is this for a whole week?
My grandbabies ❤️ go here.
This school is great 👍
Wow..whole loaves of bread. White milk loaf of bread a few eggs = premade french toast for the fam.
This is great they give a lot of good food for the kids
WOW!! This is great. I love it.
