What a wonderful video, it beautifully captures the mood and atmosphere of the Dobson. I’ve hiked it twice in June and I thought that was wet and muddy but it was nothing compared to what you experienced. Great job filming in such difficult conditions. 👍👍

      Appreciate it!
I’ve hiked the Dobson a few times and it was always muddy conditions, so I figured it would be fun to just head out during a huge storm and it was a great hike. 100% recommend hiking in the rain as long as your gears up for the task!

I use to throw beer bottles off that waterfall. Had some good memories there with Mike and the boys

This was my pups first hike and I find it hard to hike without him now. He’s great company and he seems to love the adventuring through nature

Love that you still captured the Dobson in such wet and overcast conditions, this is what NB trails were like this summer. Wild pack sounds through the night too, holy crap!

This is what I picture when I think of the Dobson. Wet and soggy! 😂
And yeah, was not a fan of the Yotes being so close on the pups first big hike, but he took it like a champ!

One of the best ways to end a big hike!

Great video....man that was wet! Loved the drone shots of Laverty Falls what a unique perspective. Also the crossing shot you did before the falls....now that was commitment to a shot! Thanks so much for sharing.

I find that my feet are always wet on the Dobson, so I committed to going out in a storm and it was actually such a great experience!
I have grown to enjoy having to cross rivers multiple times between filming or having to drop gear off and come back to lug my son across.
River crossings are usually a highlight of a hike, so I get to literally soak it all in multiple times 😂
