Just a "FYI" observation. GMail has seen fit to use a different "Compose" icon on, for example, an iPad running FireFox. Instead of a circle surrounding a 4-color PLUS symbol in the upper left corner of the screen, it is a smaller oval shape near the bottom of the left-hand navigation column. Same PLUS symbol but the word "Compose" names the icon.

If you start composing an email, but don't send it, it should be in your drafts folder.
