Nice soundtracks to bookend the beginning and the end of the video. Gosh, I hadn't seen those old black and white pop star cards in decades! Your patience paid off with some primo finds: Boogie with Canned Heat, Disraeli Gears, and *especially* Atom Heart Mother! BTW, I sold that Elvis Christmas Album cassette right away to an old friend.
Thanks for the positive feedback for this video, I appreciate the support. The soundtrack I used is from Unicorn Heads and I used it to cover up the loud music playing in the store to avoid copyright issues. Congrats on selling your cassette and good that it went to an old friend. I still have so many of those in my collection, boxes of them! Another video coming out this weekend, thanks!
Man, at least they had some rock and roll /classic rock in their bin. I'm legally blind and I could not see the price tags on any of the records you went through. Just out of curiosity, do you know what that Star wars 2xLP set was selling for? I don't have any interest in movie soundtracks and things like that but as a kid I had that Star Wars record set that you scrolled past. I just found it when I was back in Houston selling the family home about a month ago. I found my old 1977 copy or the Star record and unfortunately it was scratched beyond belief. I've always wanted to replace that one and I really enjoyed that John Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra Star Wars album growing up. I've always looked for a copy when I've had a chance but I've never come across it anywhere. I'm just curious how much they were selling it for. It may have been in worse condition than my copy haha? Thanks for any info if you can provide it. Brian in Fort Worth 🎶
Hey friend, thanks for watching the video and I can totally relate to your Star Wars soundtrack interest. I have purchased this double album twice. I bought both 2xLPs at an estate sale for $2 each, sold one for $40 (EX condition) and kept the other for my own personal collection. The one you saw in this video was tagged for $20 and it was in G+ condition, so I passed on it... but, if I see another one out there, I will try to grab it for you. They are hard to find and lots of people want that album. Such a great movie, such a great soundtrack! Thanks for the comments and stay tuned, lots more video coming out soon.
@@mountainmanpicker that is really great and thank you my friend! And that is great that you were able to find the two that you did in the past. Thanks for all of the information. Yeah, at a G+ I definitely would have passed on it too haha 🙂 I'll keep a watch and thank you once again! And good luck on your record hunts!
Great eye and good catch, great album! I have that one in my personal collection. It was $20, but I will be on the lookout for that one and will add to my eBay store for you. Stay tuned as I hunt it down.
@@mountainmanpicker thank you I lost over 1300 albums way back and I’m slowly trying to get them back! Another album I’m looking for is an album called Egg 1969/70
