Two things you mentioned have explanations - About Till the World Ends being a cover, it was due to the "Free Britney" movement, since at the time, Britney was overcontrolled by her father. Due to that, her songs couldn't be licensed and Ubisoft had to cover the song. - About the "hell" censorship, they usually censor it when used as a synonym for the F word, but not when used as the opposite of heaven, although there are expections (Example: in Could You Be Loved, hell is censored despite being used as the opposite of heaven, and in Funplex, it's not censored despite being used as a synonym for the F word)
I agree with the fact hell is not inconsistent based on your reasons being exactly my thoughts. The free Britney movement made a lot of sense, I am happy they could license her songs like Toxic and Gimme More.

@@Just.Jasper I don’t think it does. I have played songs perfectly and not gotten 13,333 on JD+ while others have gotten 13,333 on the leaderboard. I think there are many inconsistencies like this in scoring.
My best guess is the accuracy of moves being hit and potentially combos. Before anyone fights me, no I do not know if this is true, I'm just going off of my experience. I did a run with 3 supers at the start and got a 13184, then another with a good and super at two points to only to get 13146.
iirc, the Don't Stop Me Now coach has also been referred to inconsistently as either The Showman or Mr Fahrenheit (I prefer Mr Fahrenheit to be honest)
@cneale9431 omg yeah I didn't think about that one! I prefer Mr Fahrenheit too because it ties him closer to don't stop me now, and I love that song 🐼💙
The gloves/colored hands are to show which hand your controller or phone should be held in, and it's also the only hand that you get points/exp(?) (like your score to go up). So say a coach has a colored glove on their right hand, then the controller or phone should be in that hand and if you don't move that hand or the hand that has controller or phone it in you won't get any points/exp. On dances you'll get like (for example) a "Perfect!" If you move this specific hand at the correct time, speed, etc. But when the move repeats with the other hand you don't anything bc the game isn't counting for that hand, only for the gloved hand. The gloves with nails are probably just for aesthetic/to match the character's costume. Most likely glued on nails, nail gloves, or just nails under the glove. And they are bright colors to make it stand out. I hope this makes sense. Idk this all for sure but it's something I have noticed with the games mechanics so I feel that this makes the most sense. Hope it helps! /gen
Actually in Just Dance 3, the pointer sisters had a covered song and a non-covered song in the same game. With it being “Jump (for my love)” and “Im so excited” so it wasn’t the only time an artist has a covered and non-covered song in the same game.
@jessea3270 ohhh thats a very good point! I feel like the situation is a bit different, i think they chose a cover of jump for my love because they wanted a more pop sounding version. Meanwhile with ain't no other man I think they simply couldn't get the rights lol 🐼💙
About the scoring, when you get a perfect, it's not going to give you the same quantity of points. I never got a 13333 but got closer, it really depends on how you play the song. However there's another inconsistent in this, there's a video of an all perfects for Scream And Shout on TH-cam but the person got one super and still got 13333. The scoring on this game is really confusing sometimes. 😂
I have literally played challenge mode against others on the leaderboard and gotten less mistakes than them, but still didn’t get a higher score. The inconsistencies are too real in the scoring and it can be annoying, but at the end of the day, there’s not too much that can be done to rectify this anyway.
@@Jessica_25 the thing is, you need to find tips, if you don't score high enough or if the tracking of the song is awful, there will be always tips to help get a higher score. (Like holding the joycon/phone in a different way, or dancing in a smooth or in a precise way)
@@Jessica_25My honest guess is that they might count perfect-streaks? @@corinneeaglebridge So they already confirmed that they do this, but this still doesn’t explain how one person getting all Perfects can have a worse score than someone else who has one OK, Good, or Super (which has actually happened to me). Most probably there is a precision to them and if you don’t hit the move exactly as they were expecting, your score is worse arbitrarily because in theory you should’ve gotten a 13,333.

For example Good 4 u, Thank u Next, Vampire, Hit me baby one more time, (i think, this is how we do” aswell) and hollaback girl are all in the same universe despite being different songs. They take place at 2 different schools but still in the same danceverse canonically I do hope they expand on it further and explain with songs belong to what universe
There appears "Perfect" if your move score (0 - 100) is over a certain point, around 75 to 90 (cant remember) If you keep getting very high move scores then you will get 13333. Thats why only a few people on jd23 and jd24 got it.
it’s 90 i think and also 13333 isn’t the limit (each song is different but the absolute limit is on average like 13380) but that’s just the highest that can show. like if your true score is 13360 it’ll still show 13333.
The gloves are an interesting topic. In my mind, because the Danceverses are an actual universe, the gloves are something the Danceverse people believe in. It brings them luck, they think they dance better and more powerful with it, maybe they believe in a god and the glove is said to bring more power through the god. That's why almost everyone, especially the main dancers in one map, wear one on their left hand. It's still odd tho that the non danceable people in a map don't wear one then, it's an inconstistency that is inexplicable and I wish JD would have paid attention to it because I like the idea of a world and story behind JD. But they sadly don't pay attention to a lot of things. It's also odd that Sara instantly had one when she turned into a Dancer. In my story, she didn’t had one first and got it as a present by her friends. I wish JD would have shown such details, that's possible even without voice recordings.
@yodel7781 oooo that's actually a very interesting take that I hadn't thought of before! You're very creative and I like where you went with it. It bugs me that returning coaches are missing their gloves though lol 🤔
I think the gloves started off as a sort of branding after the first Just Dance game and became a stapel. It could also be to help with tracking and paking a score file. Notice that the glove is always meant to show which hand you are supposed to hold the controller in, even v.i.p. coaches that aren't stylized as just dance characters have gloves. There were even a few switch exlusive songs that used two controllers so the coaches actually had two gloves to tell you which controler is in which hand! Think of it like the sims plumbob, which is basically just a stylized ui element to show the player where the character they are currently controling is in the world. The glove is pretty much the same, signalling who in the map is a playable coach and also could be used to make it easy to reference the pictos when playing a multi coach map. I feel like usually the pictos and the glove color match for their respective coach. The gloves might not be canonically part of a coaches costume but seperate from it, if they arent obviously part of the outfit.
@@Multi-A I know that the gloves are for the hand your controller is in, everyone knows that. That's the reason for the glove. I just searched for a reason for the glove IN UNIVERSE. For the story. And I think the idea that it's like a lucky charm is nice.
@@yodel7781 but returning coaches in the background dont always have them. Only playable coaches always have a glove or colored hand. Its far more plausable if the gloves might not be in universe.
The first Extremes were definitely significantly easier compared to those from nowadays. They weren't sure how difficult to make them back when they introduced the concept, so it's understandable that they used to be way easier compared to more recent ones.
@@tomasvolpe5152 extremes have definitely gotten more extreme over time. I would say that the extremes from jd 4 and 2014 would be rated as hard if they were in a new game for sure.
I also never understood why I could never get a 13333 score even though I got a few full perfect scores... I know that from JD23 afterwards the way the scoring is count is different, but I remember being so sad when I full perfect'ed I Am the Best in JD20 for Xbox One but never got that 13333 score lol. By the way, Till The Worlds Ends was a cover because in those years there were some trouble between Britney and her scandal of being controlled by his family or something like that. I think that by the time this issue happened, Ubisoft had already made the map for JD21 and ended up adding it with a cover. That's also probably why JD22 didn't include any Britney song.

it’s 90 i think and also 13333 isn’t the limit (each song is different but the absolute limit is on average like 13380) but that’s just the highest that can show. like if your true score is 13360 it’ll still show 13333.
@@Just.Jasper Yeah that bugs me too, I wish JD would pay attention to this 👀
I think the gloves started off as a sort of branding after the first Just Dance game and became a stapel.
This could be a separate thing to discuss. Are extremes really that difficult across the various games or the difficulty is extremely inconsistent?
The first Extremes were definitely significantly easier compared to those from nowadays. They weren't sure how difficult to make them back when they introduced the concept, so it's understandable that they used to be way easier compared to more recent ones.
@@tomasvolpe5152 extremes have definitely gotten more extreme over time. I would say that the extremes from jd 4 and 2014 would be rated as hard if they were in a new game for sure.
I'm so confused I was like what is The Girly Team and I didn't know they are from Just Dance like Wanko Ni Mero Mero. They deserve better tho.
@greycabigas8044 The Girly Team is so iconic! If I see a just dance cover made by them, I won't be as sad about it as others lol
5:09 in i kissed a girl it censors “cherry” … 😭😭😭 like it’s a subtle thing. no one really thinks about it like that until you bring it up
@zephyraowl for real, by censoring it you're just making more people aware of the second meaning 🥲
but what does it mean tho? i've been questioning that since i saw it
@@nikoshiismaadI believe it is an inappropriate innuendo, because cherry can refer to woman's private part (aka popping a cherry and so on)

@hanse_x yes omg the score thing makes me so sad! It's kind of demotivating because even if I do get a full perfect song it's never guaranteed that I'll even get a score higher than 13300 lol. And yeah it's such a shame that she was put through that... I'm so grateful that she's free now! 🐼💙
3:12 I mean it's possible they forgot that they already named him Miguel as I imagine coming up with different names for different characters you forget what names you already used

Hey, I have seen some comments on some previous videos of yours that include five names and only five names. This is used to see if your real name is in the banned words list and can be used to snatch your personal information. Just letting you know! X3
@angello.ingram thank you so much for letting me know! I was definitely scared when I saw the comments because at the time I had no idea what they meant. But I've gotten more informed so it's for certain that nothing will happen 🐼💙

the 13333 one is because of the move count. tainted love is not a ubi song, it's a hit from the 80s
yeah but the version used is a cover, by ubisoft
