I remember the total solar eclipse back in 1999, in Wadebridge, but unfortunately, it was cloudy that day. However, I did see partial eclipses in Exeter in 2015 and Exmouth in 2021, when the sun was out.

Here in Germany it was overcast in 1999 and it wasn´t less spectacular, because it became pitch black night ;-)

Es waren ca -12°C und fast windstill! Das ist extrem selten. Nach der Totalität ist die Temperatur auf -20°C gefallen.
