So looks like all I was missing was replacing the one dll for the alchemy executable, but its working now! man this was so cool I'm glad I finally got around to checking it out. A definite new top 3 castlevania soundtrack for me, for sure!
@arcadestuff I installed Alchemy but it WILL not open on my PC. Makes no sense. Now it says "audio device required by this app is not detected" um so i cant use sound effects now for this? I hope not. that would SUCK
a friend question, does the sound of the effects work for you? here on my pc, the sound comes out, however, the effect sounds do not come out, only the background music plays, without the magic effect sound

That's how it's supposed to be, player 1 is in the left speakers player 2 is in the right. Google "turn on mono audio in windows" There's a setting in Windows that will resolve it for you, but you'll lose some of the atmosphere of the game, as it does some tricky stereo effects and setting this to mono sort of cancels it out, but it does make the whip cracks come out of both left and right channels for both players.

Applied ALchemy and the SFX works perfectly , but blackscreen on Level 2B every level after level 1 gets blackscreen Windows 11 ryzen 5950x + Nvidia 3080TI would really appreciate your help thx

Yeah, i'm sure you could, so long as you can find a way to setup the borders. I read that the Sinden doesn't work so well with the whipping action required in Castlevania.

Did you install castelvania arcade patcher patch 2.0? I'm playing this game on the exact same cpu and GPU as you and it works fine.

Can both games play with Sinden Lightgun?
