I love the break on the right.. my mind cant adjust to it backward.. I want it that way for our my and my sons safety. We ride other bikes that have it the same.
A lot of value here but, I think the 36v 16ah battery will be the biggest limitation here with the Kukirin G2 master's 52v 20.8ah for the same price. It's good to see competition getting stiffer in the 1K price point.
The G2 Master appears to be the best scooter money can buy at this price point. Ginger on wheels loves his one ! Only 1 problem though : It weighs around 35 Kg !
I really enjoy the very informative videos. They helped me with my Gotrax Gx1(s) purchase. However, just shy of 300 miles on both and my wife and I have developed battery and control issues 😩. Customer service a bit of a hassle, but with the two year warranty replacement parts wasn’t too much trouble. Really thinking upgrading next year. Thanks for what you guys do.
can't believe they reversed the brakes. This is a standard on motorcycles and bicycles. Not something you just flip willy-nilly. I agree with other comments that 36v is too low. Just gonna add a few hundred bucks to get the GX1 instead. Nice review video. Love the 4k quality!
Love the look and mechanics of this scooter super cool just wish it was over 40 volt and a little bigger battery please ⚡️ awesome review guys the best ❤it
Where do y'all go for trails to ride in Denver? I just got a dual motor commuter and will want to get a more offroad option down the road. This price point is great and I do like the road runner scooters here in town. removable batteries are awesome!
I really like your reviews. Really. I am a bigger person (240 lbs) and would like to see how scooters perform under that circumstance. You guys are fit and I am less than fit. Any suggestions? Nice work.
36V ruined it. Why on earth would they. The voltage & performance drop will be insanely bad. Just when I thought I found the perfect scooter for my needs too!!!
It was an amazing scooter, until the battery life was mentioned. They could've easily done a 48V system, and still kept the original pricing. It would've had a clear advantage over scooters like the Pegasus and Mantis at the same price range. Nonetheless, amazing review from you guys, as always.
I thought Go-Trax finally had a winner on their hands. Nice features, good looking scooter...and then you realize its a 36 volt system and has no range. It's always one step forward two steps back with Go-Trax as. They keep losing ground to other manufacturers. I'd love to like this acooter but there's no excuse for running a 36 volt system. Not even at this price point.
i also noticed the weird brake handle issue but on my gx1 its the rear brake on left as it should be but on my friends gx1 its the other way also hard to believe the gx1 was 500 off because if it was still 999 it would be a deal breaker...also which one would you recommend the gx 0 or the gx1 ?
I bought the Gotrax gx2 the front hub motor is constantly going out, I shipped the scooter to their warehouse they fixed the scooter, two weeks later same issue front hub motor sputtering again! 😢 Now a new front hub motor is expected to arrive Monday I hope it works because I’m definitely gonna sale this scooter, my Apollo city never gave me any issues like this !
36V 15ah for $999? I dun think this can last more than 10 mile with full speed. If you only go for small range, probably dun need duel motor or suspension? I rather get a ninebot max g2 with $999, at least its not 66lbs.
@@larryc1616 i think he mis spoke cause ESG just said it was tubless and this video he actually said "tubed in Pneumatic Tires" what does that even mean?
Be a deal braker if it had hydraulic brakes over disc brakes would be close to perfect for that price point. Or the option to choose that, i know would bump up the price a bit but it would be worth that lil extra for quality brakes for those that want that. I like the bell feature and thumb throttle nice touch, the only thing missing would of been folding handle bars. Maybe like the one thats on the D4+ 4.0 the one where you pull from both sides then folds down.
It would be sweet to have hydraulic brakes instead of mechanical brakes. We prefer standard handlebars over folded ones, but if you have limited space we see why people like them.
Is the hill at 3:18 20%? Loos like a 12% to me. It would be great to show the angle measured by phone app or other similar tools when reviewing the hill climbing ability.
We don't mind the shorter deck size as long as it is wider and has a nice kick plate. However, you do have a good point of a lot of scooters going too short on the deck length.
Rim diameter should be said every time. Looks like a nice scooter. If i could change anything, its solid tyres, i don't do air anymore. Scooters is the one off the rack ride that some come with no flats tyres. Ive not purchased a modern escooter yet but not flats tyres is there biggest selling point. Euc flats, i have to instsll a mousse. Ebike id had to install tanis or solids.. Escooter off the rack i won't have to install better tyres. To me its the escooters biggest selling point. I want to ride not fix flats. Else its a very nice looking scooter. Just my 3c opinions.
What an absolute shame. Its such a good deal for what you’re getting but that battery and voltage is a Big letdown. If only they had different tiers for this scooter with bigger battery and voltage at a slightly higher price point.
@@MrYondaime705 so what you're saying is that it appears to be a good deal until you take a good look at it and realize that it's not a good deal at all.
You guys make too much of the "brake on the right" (...and in so many of your videos you make it seem like it's only that scooter that you are reviewing atm that has throttle and rear brake on the right😡. Wrong!, Apollo, Vmax, Kaabo, Gotrax, so many quality manufacturers use that set-up on multiple flavors). You seem utterly unaware of road bicycles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, etc., that have a legacy tradition of a brake on the right (you NEVER concede or mention that fact). Many scooter riders come to scooters with that muscle memory and, frankly, prefer for that muscle memory to kick-in (esp. in emergency stop situ). ... And 😄 what is this malarkey about ...oh, when I break I gotta let go of the throttle, reset my grip on the handlebar, then reach for the brake !?!?!?! WHO does that!?!?!? No one's hand is just floating off the handlebar when using the throttle😄 You let go of the throttle (foot of hand against the handlebar), extend your fingers around the brake and squeeze! simple, intuitive and quick.....And it never dawned on you manufacturers might place both throttle and brake on the right side so as to NOT give some "geniuses" the option of braking with one hand while still using the throttle with the other (yeah, been a few who went ass over tea kettle doing that Imma sure, esp. with a typical rear motor set-up...). I get it. It's your "preference", but you are makin these videos for a much more general audience, no? So maybe, don't overstate your preferences like, "wow would they do that?", because some might just put too much weight on that...
I love the break on the right.. my mind cant adjust to it backward.. I want it that way for our my and my sons safety. We ride other bikes that have it the same.
36 Volts is a deal breaker... They should have gone at least 48 Volts
100% agree
Facts. Should’ve been 52v imo. What’s the point of dual motor and sporty design without the power behind it

A lot of features for the money. But that low range per charge is a no-go for me.
Agreed. I'd rather get the Mukuta 10+ over this tbh.
It claims to get up to 30 miles of range but we always ride our scooters at max throttle.
I wonder if I can pay a bit more and get like a 20ah battery! Nice design and shocks too. Thanks guys.
You can get an Ausom leopard for $700 and it blows this thing away.

Roadrunner has been doing the batteries/battery compartments like that. Although nice to see it on a little more affordable scooters.

None of our wives ride a Onewheel or EUC, so it is nice to have our companions ride with us on scooters.

@@colinetienne6926 well, that's never a good sign.
That means nothing if you don't know the backstory

Rear brake on the right is standard for motorcycles, I crashed my V2 because it was on the left
The brakes make sense because it’s like that on bicycles and motorcycles, it’s standard.
