As a St Louis native, I never knew this place existed. As far as I know, and my information may be very outdated, cremains are not allowed to be (legally) scattered anywhere in St Louis and have to be buried if not kept in an urn by a loved one.
I looked for more information about this place. It's a memorial specifically for transgender people who were killed by violence. Murdered for being trans.

I think it depends upon each individual what they want. People always want to put others in a category, but you can be in more than one. What's up Lamont welcome back to stl! So here's a little background on the memorial garden. First, it is said to be the first of its kind in the United States. It was the brainchild of LGBT activst Jordan Braxton who is also a drag queen who goes by Dieta Pepsi. As you said the Metro Trans Umbrella Group looks after it. The garden is basically a reminder of the struggles of the LGBT community especially those who were killed because of who they were. As I'm sure you're aware (but not your viewers), it is located at The Grove, which is a LGBT area. There are volunteers that occasionally help with the upkeep of the garden.
Umm… aren’t they all the average graveyards/scatter gardens and memorial gardens world wide? We have a memorial garden at our local parish vicarage that would suit your needs ;-)

I'm in St. Louis. It's not the manholes up there he needs to worry about. I wouldn't walk around up there even during the day without a firearm. At the same time.....our city taxes not hard at work repairing the streets.

A 15 year old transgender teen was beaten to death in Dublin Ireland in August. She was attending Gay Pride and was singled out for being transgender. I've never known such hatred, lied and misinformation about gay and transgenderpeople. So I've no problem with a memorial garden. It doesn't affect my life. Its such a small thing.
Love to see it despite how most church people are so cruel and judge-mental towards this community...it’ll be more in the future we are all human at the end of the day
