Hi thanks for watching,I don't anymore,I noticed more you take off the lid and replaced for maintenance it does warp a little ,I literally had it off most of the time as I can't keep my hands out of the tank
Hi thanks for watching,I noticed taking the lid off constantly does warp it a little .I don't have the tank anymore but I'll be honest after a while I used to just have the lid off most of the time .
AHH dude thanks man X I've moved it about a little yesterday to get more flow around the back of the Scape since shit was getting stuck in the plants even though cleaning as much as I do and looks a little better still ,but when it grows out gonna look even better ,thanks for the comment man

I'd definitely go with canister filter filter over hang on back is that the tank has a real clean look about it and having big equipment (in my opinion only) would look clunky. Also with canister filters push the water from front to back ,rotating just that section where a canister filter outlet with a directional nozzle can have the flow going right across the tank and circle the water from end to end .I also put both outlet and inlet on the same side so the water pressure rotates the water back to the inlet
Hi I just done a measure up for you and no it won't ,then I remembered that's the reason I didn't use them on this tank .The eheim 3e has actually done such a good job on this tank ,it's a really good sized filter for the tank and I'll be doing a filter clean vid soon on it .that filter for a small form factor has 1700 lh flow on it and eheim after head flow are about 30% from there figures not 50%like some companies.so all in all very happy with it.On the big juwel tank the cabinets where small so I ended up cutting two of the handle far down enough so not to cut into the seal and I could slide them in at a angle .But you can get a large filter in the compartment,I'm using my eheim 2028 case in there as a bucket for holding stuff lol.
@@tigertropics5386 Hi, Thank you so much for taking your time and checking that for me. Im actually downgrading from Rio 450 with 2x Fx6. The Aquael tank should be with me by the end of the week, so I will be able to check this myself as well just to be sure as I cant fit it, perhaps without the door? If not i will need to get a new filter, thinking about Aquael Ultramax 2000 or JBL E1902. I had JBL E1901 in the past and it was ok, but nothing can compare with Fx6 :-( not sure about this Ultramax. Also Im a bit worried as this aquael tank is overhenging 1" at the front (the cabinet is not wide to cover the tank bottom area), any thoughts?
@@CichlidVibes yeah I know what you mean about the over hang , should be fine as it designed that way ,I'll be the first to lay it down if anything happens.watxh pond guru on the ultramax I'm quiet tempted for the next tank . problem with the FX range is the size of the pipe fittings, but for sheer water movement there pretty awesome and reliable.
@@tigertropics5386 yeah I know it is designed this way, but i seen diversa tanks which break from brace glass corner towards the bottom corner of the tank, and it was clearly design flaw. Hopefully Aquael tested everything and we won't have the big bang surprise :-). I would not agree with most what Pond Guru "pimp my filter" says on his channel so his words are nothing to me, I rather take the words from someone who actually have the filter and used in real tank. Thanks again and have a very good evening
@@tigertropics5386 just finished the cabinet build and fx6 fit nicely in there, the only thing is as the pump need to be at the back towards the wall. So as long you left 7cm space behind the tank the fx6 or fx4 will fit in this cabinet.
I wouldn't as the brace does actually do something, someone I read on a forum had got in contact with juwel and asked if he could do the same with he's tank and juwel said yes you can but the glass will bow a quarter of a inch which is massive . I really wouldn't as it'll be pressure which the tank my handle for a bit but the risk of it popping one day when your not there because the side seams have given out ain't worth it in my opinion.
The glass is nicer ,the cabinet is built at the same quality as the juwel but having a tank twice the size is something else ,it's like having a two year old 4k 60 inch TV or a brand new 4k 47 inch TV ,the new will be nicer but it's not a 60 inch ,if that makes sense .I had the option to get the juwel Rio 240 or this tank and I went for this one and haven't regretted it.like I said in the vid if you have all the gear it's a better option than the juwel.
They are very bright ,I've just installed two smaller aquaskys on this tank turned at 40% because I was getting algae like knowbody business .I think two lights might be ok but I put on the RGB version aswell on a 6 hour duration on two bulbs and then another 2 hours there after on one bulb and it was too much .we used a par meter and was getting 80 par on the substrate.
It's only one panel across the top with a lip it sits in so yeah can't see why not .at the back of the tank ,part of the lip are two raised sections so when the lid is picked up the lid sits in it so the lid can stand up vertical but don't think it'll bother you if your just running a glass lid across it .
Beautiful Tank
A beautiful aquarium, and a good company Aquael 😃. You can see that you have a passion and you care about Tank 👍. I greet you

Yes, Aquael optiset 240 perfect!
Thank you and thank you for watching 😀
How many years guarantee do you get with Aquael and is it easy to put in a hang-on back or canister? Does it have space and holes for them?
Hi I'm not sure about the guarantee, need to talk to aquael as I got mine from a local aquarium. It has cut outs for canister filter hoses

Do you think your fx4 would fit in this cabinet?
