Love this. This is the video that prompted me to subscribe. This year I started my seeds inside the greenhouse on the potting bench but would like a smaller solution, set away from the potting bench, for next year. I have a stack of cut-off polycarb from building the greenhouse. I'll noodle on making each side a separate panel to be able to disassemble and store for the summer. Otherwise the size and capacity looks about perfect for the sunny corner of greenhouse.
We have a bigger greenhouse also but this small one has really upped our success rate with seed starting. I can manage the temp and humidity so much easier. I am very happy with it so far!
I've been looking for a way to start more seeds in my hoop house vertically, and not have to bring them in over night here in NY state. For years, I've spent morning and afternoon carrying around 15-20 trays in and out if I think it will be too cold overnight. I have spinach and lettuce that overwintered in a 'tent' inside the hoop house, but I don't want the tender seedlings all on the ground, and that would take up a lot of space, even in a 16 x 48' hoop house. New to your channel, but love your ideas! We always have cattle panels and other useful things here on our little place. Good job!
This little greenhouse has helped us a lot. I haven't had any issues with keeping it warm especially with the heat mats. Not to mention it is much easier to ventilate on warmer days. We had a much higher germination rate this year because of this little project!
@@SalmonCreekLiving I just found your site last night. (your blackberry trellis is perfection!) Unfortunately, the music in this video & others you've made makes it impossible to hear your instructions. I would really like to subscribe to your channel because I like your ideas, but probably won't since it's a waste of my time to watch videos that I can't hear. Hopefully you'll tone down the music in the future & I'll get to give you another try someday.
Thanks learning tons at 63 years. Can you please tell me what the laser/ruler you use for the height alignment, I need one of them. I live in portugal so will order off Amazon.
I don't think it will. The polycarbonate has some flexibility to it and expansion/ contraction on a 4x4 post will be very minimum. It typically only happens across the grain
Construction: Working with small width wood and polycarb panels in a small space. Modification: easy to remove individual pieces without disturbing adjacent pieces. Demolition: Disassemble and reuse any or all pieces.

Thank you! Very much appreciate the blessings!
Ah I went back and found a smile 😂
This is a cool use of dead space in the home. Love it
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing myself
@@SalmonCreekLivingIf you get a hard freeze do you feel this will stay warm enough? Or do you plan to add a heater if necessary?
Love your unique ideas, what a breath of fresh air. Thank you. I always use screws myself.
Thank you again for the kind words!

It is a laser transit. I have a link in the video description. I use it pretty often.
Great DIY information! Subbed. 🙂
Thanks for the sub!
Do you think expansion and contraction of the lumber will cause the polycarbonate to crack at the 4x4 post? This is a Great use of space!!

Good tips!
I can't hear what you are saying over the music.
Why are you screwing this! 😂😅

? What else would you use?
