    Man some people are born to teach. I discovered your boxing vids like 6 years ago when i started training MMA, trained at home for a few months then joined my first fight gym, tore people up in sparring. Coaches constantly praised my footwork and head movement, i recommended your vids to so many people in that gym. I started fighting in the amateur circuit a while later, went 8-1. Although I dont fight competitively anymore, I recently got back into training while at home collecting unemployment during this coronavirus pandemic, instantly looked you up by name, and saw how far youve come, you deserve the success tremendously. Your virtual mentorship was an invaluable piece of the puzzle that bootstrapped me out of depression and got my life together. so just wanted to congratulate you and say thanks for all your great teachings. Big ups my man. 💪

    Buddy you have to be the best teacher, explaining any type of tactic in boxing. Im older but young men learning the beautiful sport of boxing are so lucky to have access to your boxing instructions they are so well presented. I grew up in the 80's where you went to the gym and learned the hard way by sparing and getting hit by a more experienced boxer. Thank you Sir.

    i f love this. i guess that loma took the regular feint that is used when we attack. for example faking a jab and throwing a left hook. and he implemented the feint to movement. going one direction with footwork but swiftly changing direction. faking bob and weaves and head movement also . genius

    I do something similar to that second technique except I step in with my right leg into a south paw stance and then shift to the right back into a squared orthodox stance off of a right hook and set myself up for a big left hook down the middle of his guard or a guard splitting left uppercut. Usually, it gets me the angle to their right but better guys would pivot or shift away fading back and to their right before I shift into the left hook set up so I throw a combo from south paw and then go defense when they start to pivot and move.

    I’m a southpaw , the one I always do is, I throw a jab and when I throw the 2 I move my left foot to the front automatically changing to orthodox and then I come up with a right overhand. It’s gotta be fast tho by it does confuse ur opponent, he’s not expecting the overhand

    • @PrecisionBoxing

    What is everyone's thought on peekaboo style movements for MMA? Being around knees and kicks?

    • @bolieve603
      @bolieve603 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not good if the other guy has better grappling than you because you're putting yourself in clinching range. Plus, it's very hard to "peek" with small gloves because it's so easy to land around or between them. However, if you're a good grappler and learn how to mix up ankle picks or single legs with your punches it can be very effective

    • @khonyeleaglefergumedov9175
      @khonyeleaglefergumedov9175 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It can be effective if you are a great wrestler with great grappling. But still you can be very vulnerable to knees and kicks

Can't remember other two and i really liked that video but can't find it anymore. He posted it like a year ago it's some of the newer vids.

    Please show us the footwork of boxing while moving backwards, because youtube coaches seem to get it wrong. I have only seen jumping while moving and punching, which is not energy sparing

  • @dragonsoldier187
    @dragonsoldier187 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question. I have a friend that likes to evade a lot, moving backwards. Basically, when you punch him, he arcs his body way backwards twisting it to the side, his head completely disappearing. And while doing so he steps back as well. Can someone please explain what to do in this situation. Usually, I would go to the body, but still, it is a total pain to chase him doing this.
