I got excited when I saw the details on the models on CG Dream, but they weren't generated with AI. They're just there to use for pictures. You can't generate models.
There is an option once you've created an image to turn it into a 3D model. I've not fully explored that one yet so not sure how good they are (how good you can get them)... never enough hours in the day. . The 3D model to image function is a kinda unique and cool feature though and seems to work well. But yeah you're right, the 3D models I showed were (I assume) from their stock library of models and useful for driving image generation.

basically it's using AI image to approximate orthos view of an image , using image depth to create 3D model in tris and texture project generated image on top of it. < that's the AI part Everything after that is tackling different spaghetti flavors of already existing tech repackaged into micro transaction website . It either do some version of quad remesher + mixamo for quick cheap animation. Or it uses a base model ( usually human ) with sophisticated rig/shapekey/drivers and skinwrap the base around the AI-generated one
Very awesome video. Bookmarked some of these tools. Do you know of a tool that will build out a human model that is rigable but also allows you to enter clothing. Like if I put "middle aged man dressed in 12 century cloths" it would give me a dressed model?
4:10 if they can come up with a tech that can cook up more complex clothing other than T-shirt/hoodie/jeans/skirt it would be impressive. On animation side if the piece of clothing can rig/weightpaint itself to a certain degree then it would be great. If the clothing's animation is baked then it's pretty meh lol
I can tell you from experience this tool is very useful in indie company and solo artist. But in AAA game or animation studio. This still has a long way to go. So try to integrate ai will help you improve. But once you reach a really high level these ai can't help a lot until it becomes better
It's not about the AI, it's the way they get data to train it. Sooner or later someone will record your job and supply needed theory and will replace this job. Unless you're taking out the trash or assembling something in China, in that case it will be cheaper to leave it to humans.

Just use makehuman and model the clothes yourself. Its really not that much work.
