After my grandmother died, I found my Norwegian great-grandfather's cigar collection. There were several boxes of open and unopened cigars. My great-grandfather worked as a journeyman for Tiedemann's Tobacco Factory in Oslo, Norway. I also found a pack of unopened cigarettes from the 1940s.

Why are they all cracked? You need better humidity control. More money than sense.

Well, I have o admit that I bought (3 weeks ago) a box +1 of the Opus X lost cites. Now I am down to 10 lost cities. But it was a great cigar. Also being a fan of LFD. a store owner waved a box of LaNox cigars. I must have sucker on my forehead. I just whipped out the Credit card. never even asked how much.
But your collection. When you opened that Davidoff selection. I spotted those "Year of the Tigers" and was DAMN ! Now I have heard that out of the whole series. the Tigers were the best....But sadly will never know. Honestly, even if I was to get one. Not sure I would/could smoke it.
    Happy belated Birthday !

When you talk about the Cohiba/Uppman being real or fake, do you mean they could be fake in general or fake as in someone said they were made in Cuba but were made somewhere else by the brand?

The cohiba looks very poor. Highly likely to be a fake. The small one.
The big one has a chance but need a better look
Fun collection but not all cigars benfit from age. Especially when not vacuum sealed many of them will be past their prime. They will still be enjoyable but dont think later = better everytime

You've spent close to 8k at a minimum for your Collection. As for worth it as much as you could sell it for.

Crazy collection it got out of control, I would be worried about mold or insects all the time! Keeping collections small, affordable and consumable, might be more wise to do.. Your cigar room has to be climate controlled 24/7, what about a power outage?! o.0.. I also read people say to not store your cigar in the cellophane inside the humidor, since it has very low breathability and that the moisture of the humidor does not control the cigars that well and it actually acts like a flavor sponge, making those cellophane color over time making it look a bit nasty - though cellophane might protect the cigars from drying out against the wood a couple more days if the humidity drops, when the Boliva packs for example run out of function.. Other insights please do enlighten me!

These videos always make me sad..... Cigars that will never get smoked. Collecting I understand, but that's 1 of what ever you wanna collect. Me imma person who might have a couple "rare" or expensive cigars for a special occasion but even those get smoked with in a few months or when I find another "rare"cigar to replace it.

I totally agree, I try and store away 5 cigars of each ideally. 1 to give to a friend, 2 to age for the hell of it, then smoke it with my father, and 2 to smoke with my father as soon as I get them. In the case that I end up with more sticks, then I just age them. But for me, the Nat Sherman's are the biggest part of the collection, and since they're not made anymore, I always imagined it would be awesome to share them with everyone down the road. Mark my words, they'll all be smoked at some point 😃🙌

Man some of those cigars are pretty beat up, it's a pretty nice collection you have, the rare pinks are released in October usually, I'm curious as to what you keep your humidity at, thanks for the humidor tour, and smoke them cigars, you only Live once. Keep it smokey brother

The cellphane takes all the flavour out of the cigar, the yellow you see is all flavour gone
