- Here we go! Crawler racing at the Dark Woods RC Park 2nd Annual Scaleaversary 2023. Our patrons hit the track with their crawlers for an off road race like no other sponsored by Hobbywing North America. Half bump and run half crawling and climbing! Pick your favorite truck and root them on thru a few rounds of racing. Watch till the end to see who comes out on top. This is the coolest rc race ever. No one had to be a Marshall. Self Marshalling, nice.
Yes, being your own marshall is the penalty for driving to fast and rolling over. 😁
This is the first time I've seen this type of racing. I think it's going to take off. Getting my keys and driving to the hobby store.

That is a great way to race need to put the drivers in the middle oh my gosh that's the best thing I have ever seen truth is the only time I seen it keep it up because I am going to be having the same thing here next time out but all the drivers in the middle an they could see an get to the truck's better without crossing the track but I really don't know anyway better than this you all are doing an fun for everyone thanks again

Actually my Redcat Gen 7 goes pretty good. This is a good cross over sport, racing/crawling. I have boulder fields and stick ladders, and dirt. Its fun.
My gen 7 won the first time we tried this a few years ago. Great fun, I recommend any that can tries it. 💯

This is so cool. I wonder, would the top rack on the one having trouble with the 1st sector b just enough weight to make it keep toppling over, unlike the others? Or was this all driver skill?
You are correct! That was the heaviest truck in the field. It performed well in the truck pull event in our other video though. Light trucks do well in the crawler racing.
Yes the roof rack was a bad idea. First time I had it out with that on. Looks cool but way to much weight on top of a already top heavy truck.
@@lylecurl8895 i am a fan mainly of the more oem real car style models, so i think it looks good with the aesthetics. And it still won the pull it looked like, so no worries right!

Bahaha now this would be the only way for me to drive a crawler but as a racer this is the worst form of rc racing out there 😂. Lap times are 6 minutes not 6 seconds. Its like watch turtles race 😂😂😂

Gotta give the guy some crap for racing with a overland rig top heavy as hell. I hope he learns his lesson and removes all that crap. I'm an avid jeep wheeler and that's a big no no with any of our rigs, no spare either. Less weight up high.

First of all the abomination of a track isnt properly zoned. 2nd it isnt withing safety codes for a public gathering. If i see that "track" Ill have it destroyed and the property owners sued over several safety violations.
