Glock striker cups - tech tip

- One time I had an issue with very light primer strikes with my Glock. Sometimes the strikes were light enough that the round wouldn't ignite. Upon inspection, I discovered the striker spring had slightly separated the cups. After rotating them, I no longer had a problem.

I’m getting the maritime cups they’re on the way
Never understood why people are getting them... These cups have some advantages over the original?
@@tatarugabriel4328 no,,they have no advantages unless you're military and or swimming into your local shooting range.. people just buy whatever their favorite instagram shooter wearing skinny jeans is using...lol
Great tip thanks
Thank you!!!
Hmmmm.... my issue is that the channel liner is causing a lot of friction on the cups after I got my slide refinished I wonder if this is why? Thank you for the suggestion I’ll disassembled and see if there’s a separation, appreciate it.
The refinisher most likely blasted or baked the slide in the oven with the liner in it. get a new liner and liner remove/install tool.
@@deedle6073 Yeah I did that and it’s better now, thank you for trying to help.
Bro most if not all just give Glock a call and get a replacement factory strength spring.
I have had all to frequent misfires with Glock factory springs, even though they left a nice primer hole in the back of the primer, but with CCI500's and WSP. I have never had a misfire with a Federal 100 or 100Match primer. Almost all of the CCI500's and WSP's fired on the second strike. I am now moving up to a Ghost 6.5 lb. striker spring hoping to get that needed force to ignite them.
I have the same problem but my cups open alot and walk or move up when the gun is shooting I need to check if this is my problem
Did you replace the stock plastic cups been trying some to re do mine in metal thanks
