- The Oklahoma Sooners vs the Texas Longhorns in the Red River Rivalry (2011). Texas entered this game wanting to prove that Texas was back, but the sooners had plans of their own after dropping to #3. Oklahoma would end up demolishing Texas in a 55 to 17 rout including 3 touchdowns scored by the Defense.

Defensive wise yes but I don't think we were ever legitimate offensively with Jones at QB now had Kyler or Baker been backed with this type of defense we would have mad some real noise

Watching in the year 2023. We are days away from RR this year (Tuesday)! I am hoping to see this type of performance this Saturday! We have Venables back and he is head coach this time around! Both teams are undefeated, it’s gona be a great time!
As a classy football, and Texas fan I take my hat off to the Sooners for a well played game last year. They really were tough. I, obviously, hope to see a much different game this season.
McCoy/Shipley were a great team. I'm an OU fan but love Texas Longhorns too.

I respect that, I just hold the opinion that you have to give credit where credit is due, even to your most rivaled opponent. And I don't think hashtags work at all on TH-cam. I think that's just exclusive to Twitter, man.

I am a huge Texas fan and I love winning but sometimes it is good for a big team to get beat like that so next time they will fight harder to not lose like that. David and case just can't replace colt. Hook'em horns baby!

I'm mad that Whaley and Broyles got hurt at the end of the season right before the OSU v. OU game!!!! It would've been wayyy closer!!!!! But this year....ALL THE WAY OU AND OKC THUNDER!!!!!!!

Oklahoma's challenge this year will be TCU. USC's challenge this year will be Oregon. And Alabamas challenge this year will be themselve, because lets face it, the rest of the SEC pales in comparison to them. SO, if it became a three way tie between OU, Bama, and USC, all unbeaten, will the BCS melt like that dude in the Indiana Jones movie?? Because it would be hard as hell to say one team is better than the other in that scenario.

however, something else i shoulda said. whether or not oklahoma makes it, they will be playing an sec team, that i can assure you. until the SEC loses a title game (NOT like last years), they will be in it again and again. pisses me off, but espn and all those folks put them at some Godly level while all the other teams are decent. honestly as an ND fan, i would root for michigan, michigan state, and usc against them. fucking sec

As a sooner fan, I respect Texas. i however don't respect the trash the fans talk. I know OU fans talk shit too UT fans but still. Both used to be contenders and now I hate too say it, but Texas sucks. ( NO AFFENCE). I hope they are better this 2012-2013 year so the game will be more enjoyable. :)
